Whistler Wines

Whistler Wines Family owned and operated, producing a range of wines from our Estate using sustainable practices We know you will enjoy our hospitality and unique setting.
(999)

Take a drive through the vineyard and discover the unique cellar door nestling among virgin Australian gums. You will pass through an avenue of red and white rose bushes and step out of your car to be greeted by the sounds of the countryside - parrots, kookaburras, frog-mouth owls and our resident kangaroos which you can feed and pat. "BJ" the family dog will also be lying in the shade or chasing

his tail as you take in the garden setting. In keeping with our contemporary approach to viticulture and wine styles, yet retaining the tradition of our Barossa Valley heritage, the cellar door tasting area is modeled on an old German cottage, and built of modern Australian materials. You are invited to enjoy the surroundings as you taste the wines, or buy a bottle to consume while you graze on a cheese platter. Sam and the Pfeiffer family extend a warm welcome to you when you visit our vineyard and cellar door.

This, right here, is Olly. She’s a legend. AND she’s also our new cellar door & events manager here @ Whistler 🙌🏽

We asked her a few questions so you could get to know her better.. welcome to the family Olly!

How long have you been in the wine industry?
“I’ve been in the wine industry for five years.. but the Barossa my whole life.”

What’s your favourite grape variety?
“My favourite white variety is Pinot Gris..and red Grenache, or a great blend! Also open to alternative varieties 😊 I love all wine.. it can depend on the day!”

#1 food & wine paring?
“I mean all wine goes with food! My favourite.. you can’t go past steak and a good Cabernet!”

What’s the best thing about the Barossa Valley?
“The best thing about the Barossa is the community and all the wonderful family owned small businesses.”

Why Whistler?
“Because I’ve always been a fan. 🤍
I’ve been coming here for years—for a little time out from the kids, wine tasting with friends, or simply enjoying drinks and a platter while watching the kangaroos.
Whether you’re a family, a single parent, a couple, or a group of friends, there’s truly something for everyone.
Now, being on the other side and watching others create those same memories and enjoy everything Whistler has to offer brings me so much joy. 😊”

Next time you’re in cellar door - make sure you say hi!
