More neighbours, friends visiting the Cellar door & more winged visitors. They enjoyed a buffet of unripe mulberries, enjoyed hanging around for awhile & then moved on. Thanks for visiting us flying foxes 🦇

W***y Wagtail update....
For those who have visited since this started & for those playing along at home.
In mid Sept we noticed the sweetest, most intricate nest in the vines. Finished off with cobwebs & feathers. Then closer to the end of the month we saw the 3 tiny eggs, in the last few days they have hatched & we are in awe & monitoring the babies daily. 🐣 They will remain in the nest for approx 14 days 🤞 🐦 Welcome little ones 💕

Fun fact: the male has white eyebrows it flares during territorial disputes or to show dominance. They live for 10 - 15 years in the wild, so we may get to do this all again next year & for many years to come 🤞

We discovered a w***y wagtail nest in the vines this week. So adorable 🐦 so happy they chose our vines to raise their family. Welcome ❤️
