We're extending our long-standing partnership with the Perth Lynx for another four years, continuing to bring elite basketball to communities across WA.

Through the Kalgoorlie-Boulder pre-season tour, Lynx in Schools Program, community events and more, the partnership gives local players and fans the chance to connect with some of the country's top athletes and experience the WNBL close to home.

Doubling the impact for Western Australians facing breast cancer. 💜

Donations made through Breast Cancer Care WA's IGA Purple Bra Day are being matched up to $150,000, as part of Northern Star's partnership with BCCWA, helping more Western Australians access specialist breast cancer nursing, counselling and practical support wherever they live.

For people diagnosed with breast cancer, and their family and friends supporting them, access to the right care at the right time can make a real difference.

Northern Star once again welcomed Year 11 and 12 students to our operations as part of Curtin University's Focus on Mining Program.

Touring our KCGM and Kalgoorlie Operations, students gained a behind-the-scenes look into modern mining before visiting the team at Hannans North Tourist Mine, where they learned about the Goldfields' rich mining history and the role mining continues to play in the region.

Through Northern Star’s support, the program gives young people the opportunity to experience mining firsthand, explore career pathways and discover what both the industry and Kalgoorlie-Boulder have to offer.

The Program combines hands-on experience, structured training and dedicated support to help you build the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career.

Opportunities are available for:
• Fixed Plant Electricians, Mechanics and Boilermakers
• Underground Electricians and Heavy Diesel Mechanics
• Underground Auto Electricians
• Light Vehicle Mechanics
• Heavy Diesel Mechanics
• Communications Technicians

Both remote and residential apprenticeship opportunities are available, with residential apprentices required to live in Kalgoorlie or surrounding areas.

Investing in the health and wellbeing of the communities where we operate is an important part of creating lasting positive impact beyond our operations.

Northern Star has partnered with Breast Cancer Care WA (BCCWA) to support the regional expansion of its Living Well Survivorship Program in the Goldfields.

Co-designed with breast cancer survivors and health professionals, the program empowers people who have completed active treatment for early breast cancer or are living well with metastatic breast cancer by providing practical tools, support and connection close to home.

Northern Star is proud to support BCCWA in delivering this program, helping more people across the Goldfields access the resources and services they need to live well beyond a breast cancer diagnosis.
