Our continued partnership with Lifeline WA provides targeted funding to support their vital mission.

This funding directly supports the health and wellbeing of their Crisis Supporters and Lights for Lifeline WA, which covers two days of operational costs during one of highest-demand periods of the year.

Lifeline WA’s purpose is to prevent su***de and support people in Western Australia who are experiencing emotional distress or crisis. They provide free, confidential 24/7 phone, text, and online chat services, alongside community education and su***de-prevention programs that help ensure no one has to face their toughest moments alone.

We are proud to support the Leonora Golden Gift, Australia’s outback mile, which brings elite athletes to the small town’s main street for the weekend showcase.

🏊 Supporting water safety skills in the Goldfields🏊

Students at Hannans Primary School previously took part in a week of swimming lessons, building confidence and developing important water safety skills in and around the pool.

Many students shared that they enjoyed the experience and felt more comfortable around water.

Through our Kalgoorlie-Boulder Local Schools Grant Program, the cost of lessons was reduced, helping make the program more accessible for local families and enabling more students an opportunity to take part in swimming and water safety education.

“People onsite look out for each other. You come in to learn a trade, but you also become part of a team pretty quickly.

“Starting at the same time as Layton, we’ve been able to learn alongside each other and grow in our roles together. Having that support makes a real difference to how you show up and the work you do.”

“There’s a strong sense of community onsite. Working with supportive and knowledgeable people really helps to keep building your skills and confidence.

“I enjoy being hands-on, getting involved in the job and learning how things work. Having someone like Shade there from the start just adds to that, you’re learning, contributing and building connections at the same time.”
