Developing a 'plan' is not the hard part or the point of this really.

Getting everyone who has to execute the agreed plan - in the same room, looking at the same picture, pulling in the same direction that's the work and the outcomes are very much underrated.
This is a half-day workshop for founders, business partners and leadership teams. A facilitated process where the direction gets built together, so everyone leaves with the same heading and a shared stake in what comes next.

You also leave with something tangible. A plan on a page, your operating model, organisational structure, risks and opportunities mapped, leadership expectations defined, and a business design canvas that brings it all together.
Not notes from a meeting. A set of outputs built in the room, owned by everyone in it.
This is what Co-Design is.

7 businesses already in across Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Townsville.

6 spots left in June and July.

One of the risks of heading into a new financial year where rapid growth has arrived or is coming - isn’t a lack of ideas or individual capability issue.
It’s a lack of alignment.

The founder sees one future. The leadership team sees another.
Managers are operating from different assumptions.
Everyone is working hard, but not always towards the same destination.

Over time that creates drag. Priorities compete. Decisions slow down.
Energy gets spread across too many things.

The Strategy Workshop is designed to bring the people responsible for building the business into the same conversation.

Together we examine where the business is today, how it arrived here, what the next chapter demands and what matters most over the next twelve months.

The outcome is a plan to anchor to - co-designed by the people responsible for building. It’s shared ownership. Shared understanding.
A sense of direction that has been built together rather than handed down.

FY27 is approaching.

Six workshop spots left.

This workshop isn’t about vision boards, personality profiles or someone else’s blueprint.

It’s a facilitated process for business owners, founders and leadership teams.

A chance to start the new financial year with a shared sense of direction, co-designed with the people responsible for building it (you and your leadership team).

Step back from the day-to-day and assess, curate, design:

• Strategic direction
• Organisational design
• Leadership infrastructure
• Decision pathways
• Operating rhythm
• Priorities for the next 12 months

Before FY27 begins, get the right people in the room.

The Strategy Workshop | Half Day

I’ve already got seven businesses booked across health, construction, trades and agriculture throughout Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba and Townsville.

For some, it’s a husband-and-wife ownership team up for clarity and direction.

For others, it’s an executive team coming together to align around what’s next.

I have capacity for 6 more workshops during June and July.

If you’re considering taking a more intentional approach to FY27, reach out and we’ll organise a 20-minute briefing call to see whether it’s the right fit.

35 Leaders - each one carrying something different into the room. The Change & Strategy Reset Workshop - for Small & Medium Business Leaders.

A structured session designed around what this specific business is actually navigating - the changes in motion, the decisions not yet made, the pressure sitting between departments that hasn't been named out loud yet.

I know where most of them will sit. I know which departments are carrying the most right now. The walking isn't setup. It's the work starting before they arrive.

What happens in rooms like this one is the reason I do what I do. Leaders who came in with one version of the problem leave with a clearer picture of what's actually underneath it. Sometimes whole directions shift. Not because I told them what to think - but because the session was designed to surface what the business already knows but hasn't said together yet.

DM if keen to attend the next one.

Recently provided Roma Cities Rugby League Club with advisory services, such a solid club with a hardworking committee doing good things in their community.

One thing I have found with those small businesses, organisations, NFPs outside the metro - they are always the most down to earth, practical and always so grateful for services.

Businesses change their team structure more often than most people realise. Growth demands it. New services demand it. A founder stepping back from delivery demands it. Sometimes the business just outgrew the chart that was drawn two years ago and nobody updated it until something stopped working.
The Org Chart + Change is a different animal.
→ Reporting lines that shifted before role clarity caught up
→ Accountability that moved but wasn’t communicated
→ Managers leading people they didn’t hire into a structure they didn’t design
→ Decision-making authority that exists on the chart but not in practice
→ People whose title changed but whose standing in the business feels uncertain
The technology to map a new structure exists. Drawing the boxes is the easy part.
What doesn’t come out of a box is the human part. And the human part can’t be separated from the business part.
The leader who had to deliver a structure they inherited, not one they built.
The manager holding both “this is the right move for the business” and “my team doesn’t trust this yet” at the same time.
The HR partner having twenty honest conversations in a week and still showing up for the twenty-first.
The employee finding their feet in a role that didn’t exist three months ago.
The business that knew standing still was more dangerous than getting it imperfect.
This is the part where most businesses stop trying to get it right and just try to get it done. Don’t. It’s worth doing well.

I didn’t start Cofound because the world needed another HR consultant or half-baked ‘business coach/guru’

I started it because I kept seeing the same pattern.

Businesses growing fast.
Winning work.
Hiring quickly.

But underneath it… something was shifting.

Not obvious at first.
But you could feel it.

Decision-making slowing down.
Leaders carrying too much.
Teams pulling in slightly different directions.
Change efforts starting… but not landing.

What gets you to one stage of growth rarely sustains the next.

Structures lag.
Role clarity blurs.
Informal ways of working stop holding.
And the system starts to strain under its own success.

Most people treat that as a performance problem.

It’s not.

It’s a system alignment problem.

Cofound exists to step into that moment.

To reconnect:
• Strategy (where you’re actually going)
• People (how leadership and teams operate)
• Change (how a human transitions from their current state to there future state - old tech to new tech, old location to new location etc)

Not as separate pieces —
but as one integrated system.

Because growth doesn’t just add more.

It changes the conditions entirely.

And if you don’t adapt to that…
things don’t break loudly.

They just stop working the way they used to.

That’s the work.

Professor Karl Weick (and American organisational & behavioural psychologist) put it well:
That’s the work.
“Organisations are not just adapting to an environment — they are partly creating the environment to which they then adapt.”

Because when a growing business starts to strain —
it’s usually still enacting an older version of itself.
Cofound exists to close that gap.

Many Founders, Business Owners and Leaders report unusual conditions once GROWTH knocks on the door. We aren’t talking about a crisis. Not a failure. But something shifts — and most founders feel it before they can name it.

The business is still moving. Still winning work. Still growing.

But underneath it, things are getting harder than they should be.

Some of what we see most often:

Growth Friction — The pace has increased but the structure hasn’t kept up. More people, more pressure, more moving parts. What worked at ten people starts breaking at thirty.

Leadership Bottleneck — Everything still runs through the founder. Not because they want it to. Because the organisation hasn’t developed the leadership capacity to carry it any other way.

Ex*****on Unpredictability — Decisions get made in the room. But somewhere between the room and reality, things don’t translate. The strategy says one thing. The business does another.

These aren’t communication ‘issues’ as some advisors or coaches might suggest. They are important signals that must be addressed with effective and potent solutions. We take an organisational development informed approach for our clients, we look under the hood of the car of your business to see what is really going on. We work with you to ‘Co-Find’ the solutions that will actually hit.

Be Fnd is now Cofound.

Not a rebrand for the sake of it.
A clearer name for the work we actually do.

Cofound exists for business owners who have reached a point where growth starts to feel heavier than it should. Decisions get bigger. People, structure, and direction all start pulling at once.

Cofound helps you step back, make sense of what’s really going on, and move forward with clarity across strategy, people, and change.

The website is now live.
If you’re at that stage, it’ll make sense quickly.
