This weekend was one I’ll never forget.

While I didn’t take home the award, being named a finalist for Bookkeeper of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards was an incredible honour and something I am immensely proud of.

Congratulations to Hayley Kalms - an incredible achievement and well deserved 🫶

Thank you to my clients, supporters, friends, family and everyone who has trusted me along the way. As always, every challenge, late night, lesson learned and leap of faith led here.

This recognition reminds me that success isn’t always about standing on the stage at the end of the night. Sometimes it’s about looking back and realising you’ve already achieved things you only dreamed about.

A big one for PNB —
Nataly, who looks after your recs, has been with us for a year. Nat is the support every business needs. 🌟

April also always feels like a reset point. I step back and take a proper look at everything.

If you’re always in your business…
you rarely get the chance to actually lead it.

Once a year (minimum), I take a full CEO Day.

No client work.
No distractions.

Just:
– Financial review
– Strategy
– Systems cleanup
– Forward planning

It’s where clarity happens.
And clarity is what drives growth.

I think every business needs a proper CEO day.
Once a year at minimum.

Not in the chaos of the week, but intentionally.
