Bit of a different job today
We have been working on this drainage easement to turn it into a natural looking creek bed,
There were some existing rocks put in there about 10 years ago which were covered in silt/grass and most of them were buried,
We dug out all the rocks and stockpiled them, then re cut the drain to promote water flow,
Laid out geofab and started placing rocks ,
Trying to keep it natural looking as possible..
Which is quite challenging believe it or not..
Each rock we selected and rotated to find the best looking face, all picked up and moved with our hydraulic grab,
Client ordered multiple sizes of river rock which we are laying into the "Creek bed"
Client has also sourced some large boulders which we will incorporate into the project next week
He's aiming for a dry rocky creekbed look, which is coming along nicely,
Landscaper will plant ferns/native grasses along the edge...
Should be sweet
