πŸ§ πŸ’¨ THE BRAIN NEEDS OXYGEN TO SURVIVE

When breathing stops or the heart stops pumping blood, the brain is deprived of oxygen.

⏱️ 0–4 Minutes
The chance of recovery is highest if oxygen and circulation are restored quickly.

⏱️ 4–6 Minutes
Brain injury may begin to occur.

⏱️ 6–10 Minutes
The risk of serious brain injury increases significantly.

⏱️ More than 10 Minutes
Survival and recovery become less likely, but outcomes can vary depending on factors such as CPR quality, temperature, and the cause of the emergency.

πŸ«€ If the person is unresponsive and not breathing normally, they need CPR.

CPR may be needed in emergencies such as:
🌊 Drowning
❀️ Sudden cardiac arrest
⚑ Electrocution
🫁 Severe breathing emergencies
πŸ– Choking that progresses to unconsciousness
πŸš— Serious trauma or collapse
πŸ’Š Drug overdose causing respiratory or cardiac arrest

βœ… Call emergency services
βœ… Start CPR immediately
βœ… Use an AED as soon as it is available
βœ… Continue CPR until help takes over or the person shows signs of life

🌊 In drowning emergencies, rescue breaths are especially important because the primary problem is lack of oxygen.

CPR helps move oxygenated blood to the brain and vital organs, buying valuable time until advanced medical care arrives.

πŸ«€ Every second counts.
πŸ«€ Every compression counts.
πŸ«€ Every breath counts.
