Big drive today, left Biloela 7am, few stops on the way, arriving at Beerwah 4.30pm.
550km today, total trip to Sapphire Central and back was 1,909km. Left home 3rd August, back home 2nd September. The Corolla did well, no mechanical issues at all.
Looking forward to going back out to the gemfields again to catch up with Scott before the end of the year.

Using the old Kenwood TS120s provided by Bob VK4LA to Scott VK4NUT. Last day here at Sapphire Central. Just checked in to the net, with VK4ALR, VK4DG, VK4UFO, VK4CAU and VK4KDB. They heard us well, RX on all stations 5/9+15. Cheers Glenn VK4NGA and Scott VK4NUT.

Starting to pack the car for the trip home.
Leaving tomorrow morning, heading the inland route, from Sapphire Central to Moura, bit of sight seeing there then on to Biloela for the night. Day 2 bit more sight seeing then make it up as I go.

Video taken by Bob VK4LA during our QSO last night on 80m.
Bob was 5/9+15 here at Sapphire Central. Bob is located north side of Brisbane. I'm running the FT450 connected to Scott VK4NUT's fan dipole which works fantastic.
