Kai’s represented our country at an Olympic Games - and now he’s taking on a new challenge.

After stepping back from swimming, the Queenslander found his calling helping others in his community.

That’s when he took the plunge and applied to become a Queensland Police Officer.

This week Kai officially joined the Service alongside 122 other Constables in one of the biggest graduations in recent history.

They’ll be deployed right across the State to boost the frontline after a decade of decline.

We’re proud to back Kai and every other Queensland Police Officer with the strong laws they need.

Congratulations to our new recruits.
