Read this if you’re exhausted from shrinking yourself.
You’ve spent years:
Softening your opinions so they don’t “overwhelm” people.
Over-explaining your decisions to make others comfortable.
Dimming your intensity so you don’t “intimidate” anyone.
Apologising for your depth, your speed, your vision.
And for what?
So people who don’t think like you can feel okay about not keeping up?
Here’s the truth they don’t want you to realise:
You were never “too much.”
They were just never your people.
You’re not supposed to make sense to everyone.
You’re supposed to be you.
Their comfort is not your problem.
Their confusion is not your crisis.
Let them wonder.
Let them whisper.
Let them be uncomfortable.
Because while they’re busy trying to figure you out,
you’ll be busy building something they’ll never understand until it’s undeniable.
This is your permission slip to stop explaining yourself.
From the book Underestimated and Overstimulated: The Psychology of Potential. The blueprint for neurodivergent entrepreneurs who are done playing small.
