Last night was eye opening, fun ( and a tad daunting!) being a guest judge and guest speaker at Saint Stephen's College annual business expo.

The foundation that these young adults are being given to understand business beyond the textbook is so reassuring and their level of thinking is next level.

From a sun block that is jellyfish and stinger resistant, to a GPS coded App that connects with tiny stickers you place on favourite items in case they get lost, jewelry pieces with an emergency chip button if required, an App built to support those with depression with medical contacts, meditations, music and live support chat room all in the one place and a device to lock your phone away with set periods to help out teens with focus issues....were just a handful of 45+ amazing ideas.

I've been working and liaising with many engineers lately who often laugh that they are not 'creative'. As a 'creative' I found this ironic as, to me, they are potentially some of the most creative and ingenious people we have on our planet. Their ability to think outside the box, embody new technologies and take concepts from ideation to implementation to evoke real change is genius.

In a few weeks I'll be able to share the work that has gone into launching a new player in the construction space that is leading transformation in the sector.

The connectivity of our world is brilliant. During my time away I've been able to work at least a few hours every day even in remote areas. I love working whilst away in new environments, gaining new persoectives.
