Earlier this week we had our first harvest of Gewürztraminer from our new vineyard. This is a brand new variety for the Cherry Tree Hill brand. The 456 and T6 clones seem to really enjoy the climate and soil of the Sunflower paddock at Cherry Tree Hill. This is the first time we have ever harvested in February and the fruit looks and tastes amazing.
Can’t wait to make this wine!!

Yesterday we hand-picked some of the best looking Cabernet fruit I have seen come off our Sunflower block in a long time.

Very excited … especially after initial smoke taint analysis from the recent backburns came back with favourable results.

Looking forward to making another ‘Wedding’ Reserve Cabernet this year.
