As a Technical Advisor, you will administer, implement, and coordinate the human capital management system (HCMS)/Cornerstone on Demand (CSOD) and projects to meet business objective (all modules excluding compensation) across government agencies.

Responsibilities of the role include:
--------------------------------------

- Provide technical advice into the system configuration review/validation process and undertake system adjustments and testing in all modules (excluding compensation)

- Implement CSOD and tailor the system to the specific business requirements (all modules excluding compensation) of recruitment, performance and learning across government agencies

- Administer best practice CSOD systems and Security configuration

- Coordinate and implement a range of CSOD projects applying sound project management principles in the delivery of HCMS and/or business projects

- Maintain and develop stakeholder and supplier relationships through effective communication, negotiation, and issues management to ensure deliverables are met

- Research, analyse and interpret options in relation to business cases and project deliverables to contribute to decision making

- Provide first and second level customer focused support

- Provide timely and accurate system administration and training for internal/external clients

Previous experience working with ERP, VMS, LMS, HCMS and Cornerstone on Demand is preferred.

The Instructional Designer provides professional and consultative services in the continuous educational improvement of the departments training and development resources by researching, designing, developing, and monitoring curricula and programs within a quality assured framework, to ensure that all staff have the competencies necessary to undertake their work in a skilled, safe, and effective manner.

Key accountabilities:
- Provide consultation services and expert advice in all aspects of learning design and effective delivery methods to enable the development of innovative and responsive learning programs.

- Project manage and undertake a range of learning design projects including conducting functional task analysis and risk-based training needs analysis, to ensure the strategic curriculum needs of the organisation, business groups and employees are met.

- Coordinate suitable resources (internal and/or external vendors) ensuring the provision of high-quality products and services within an agreed quality assurance framework, timeframes, and budgets.

- Design and develop effective learning programs including the design of the overall concept and development of curriculum, materials, tools, assessment, and evaluations, for a diverse and dispersed workforce, in an industrially sensitive and safety-critical environment.

- Support the development of framework, policies, processes, and procedures that enable the design of high-quality learning programs.

Requirements:
- You must be an experienced L&D professional with at least five years’ experience in developing training content.

- Demonstrable experience in developing training materials for complex VET programs.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential

- Demonstrable technical knowledge of units of competency

- SAP Enable Now experience is highly regarded along with animation skills.

- You must be collaborative and have the ability to work in a team to set deadlines and achieve high quality outcomes.
