From the roof layout to the finished installation, this indoor pool now has Heliocol solar pool heating by Magen Solar Pool Heating working alongside its existing heat pump.

The owner of the approximately 100,000-litre pool wanted a hybrid solution to help reduce running costs, particularly during the warmer months.

Installed by Pool Heating Solutions WA, 15 rooftop Heliocol panels provide 69.3 m² of collector area—approximately 104% of the pool’s surface area.

The aim? Let solar provide the main heating contribution during warmer months, with the heat pump available when additional heating is needed.
