“Hi guys!

No biggie but I’m legit one years old now - which basically makes me a debutante on the Eastern Suburbs social scene.

It also legit makes me a pretty big deal.

Dad says I’m the best decision he’s made all year. Which is cute.

He’s a lot but he’s okay I suppose”

Happy Birthday Gwen Face 🎂

Do you take a minute to celebrate the gold and all you’ve gained? 🥇

We had our monthly review with the 100K club last week it’s their opportunity to make themselves accountable to rest of the Board Members ‘aka Boardies’.

There is something about fessing up to your life and business challenges, making your self seen, allowing your self to be vulnerable and getting the counsel of a stack of successful business owners to help you smash your goals.

As a selection of the wins for this cycle, I thought I’d drop some below:

- Highest ever revenue month with an increase in profit to boot;
- A book launch that became a best-seller;
- Losing 2 kilos;
- Signing twice the clients in half the time;
- Converting 100% of your client base over to retainers;
- Building habits that save you time and help you feel good, every day;
- Someone else lost 2 kilos;
- Building a membership programme bringing consistent predictable $$$$;
- Hiring their first team member giving them more time to spend with the family;
- Taking time off for the first time in years.

And while all of the above are pretty frothy, the one that really stole the show for me was something quite different.

One of the Boardies was celebrating the fact that she built up the confidence to fire her first client.

👋🏼 Bye Felicia.

Why is that important?

Because when you start your business your end up working with everyone and anyone; then through trial and error, experience and painful mistakes you get clearer on the WHO you want to serve.

Then you get the confidence to really start charging your worth, owning your market and….showing the malaligned clients the door.

It shows guts and a commitment to not step outside your values.

Sure making money is good, but have you ever terminated a toxic working relationship?

Now that’s frothy 🙂

What’s been your biggest win this year, friend?

HOW ARE FEMALE ENTREPRENEURS ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE MEN?

I am not a woman.

Nor am I in ANY way wanting to add to the chorus of men looking to tell (mansplain) to women exactly what they need to do.

I do know this. I am extremely passionate about seeing female entrepreneurs succeed.

Where this comes from is that my mum, who was a small business owner before it was cool, had the incredible potential to grow a business and yet was informed that she was....

"best placed 'with the kids'" 🍼

and therefore spent her life raising me and my siblings.

She did this with passion and self-sacrifice and a happy heart, I also know that without her I doubt I'd have made even a small portion of my successes in life to date.

The thing is, having seen her sacrifice and seen others thrive, it had me thinking, surely there's a way for women to be able to have fantastic success and achieve fulfilment?

To be able to do both without societal judgment, without 'feeling like she is letting the side down on the marriage/parental/cultural norm.

Whether or not she wants to have a family is neither here nor there. It's about living a fulfilling life and being able to have an impact, make her own good money live life on her own terms.

Which is why I'm running this research

A RESEARCH PROJECT.

In my work supporting consultants, service providers and entrepreneurs, I've noticed certain trends with my female clients - both in terms of internal and external challenges that hold them back, as well as areas of commercial strength that put them a cut above.

With this in mind I'm looking to produce a white paper to be able to raise awareness in the marketplace, help me serve my clients better and also forge a way for people to basically shut out all the noise and do what they want to do.

Tactics: Are you here for Hooking-up or Getting Hitched?

Every had the feeling that someone is pretty keen on you?

You know the signs:

👋🏻 Giving you the eye
👋🏻 Sending you suggestive messages to get you to bite;
👋🏻 Pretending to be interested in what you’re talking about
👋🏻 Finding any excuse to talk to you, even if it’s ‘So how you doing?’

Wait what? Dating?

No I’m talking about

Let me be clear there is nothing wrong with coming on strong when you are really keen, heck I have never been accused of being understated in dating or in life generally.

The difference is the energy you put behind it.

Or more specifically the INTENTION.

You see, if you’ve been around the block a few times, you can usually pick up on a vibe that someone is giving off.

🤮 They’re disingenuous;
🤮 They’re saying empty phrases;
🤮 They continue to message you after you’ve politely declined.

QUESTION: What is it about online connections that makes us forget that there is a person the other side of your repetitive mouse clicking?

Sales, like flirting, is an art form. It’s about elevating status, adding genuine value and coming at it from a place of service.

Dare I say, that if you really want to cultivate a LTR with your prospects you can’t do it without love. You really can’t.

And love takes care, and genuine connection, and genuine relationship.

THE MORAL OF THE STORY.

There’s nothing wrong with swiping right on a stack of connections to find the prize but if you want long term, sustainable connections with your dream clients you have got to put real heart, care and intention behind every message.

That’s what we do with our clients day in, day out with our Flirt to Convert™️ strategy.

Tell me, friend how’s your flirting game going?

WARNING: This video shows potentially triggering footage of how your prospects feel when you immediately pitch them in the DMs.

🚿Don’t be a BASIC PITCH 🚿

If you’re someone who wants more and as such is looking to build genuine conversations online then you’re probably having to fight with the residual PTSD from all the dodgy spammy pitches you’ve received before.

“Please dont let me be one of those people” you say to your self.

Or better “Don’t let me be that person again” 🤣

We’ve all had those messages

The people that friend request or add you as a connection with a beige:

“I notice that we are both humans and have an online presence. We should connect”

Maybe even in a moment of distraction you accept without thinking and before you know it they’re all.

🚿 THANKS FOR ACCEPTING HERE IS MY DIARY LINK FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY. 🚿

Or worse:

“So what is your revenue at at the minute and where would you like it to be?”

If they do that reply with ”Seeing as we are asking private questions just curious, what colour is your underwear today?” 👙

👇 DO THIS INSTEAD 👇

People buy from people and more importantly, people buy from people that they like.

One thing we teach as part of our Flirt to Convert™️ training is that you CAN build genuine connections with ideal prospects online but do do you need to remember you have one sole objective when you ‘meet someone new’.

Rapport 🤝

Focus on building common ground, offer genuine praise or just open up a conversation around a mutual interest.

Then and only then ask if you can ‘run something by them’ or ‘share a suggestion’.

You need PERMISSION TO PITCH.

You wouldn’t march into someone’s house and insist to do business so don’t do it in their DMS either.

Flirt a little, build a connection. You can build from there.

I’ve got a nifty little cheat sheet you can print out to help you ‘flirt’ better online. If you’d like a copy just comment ‘feeling flirty’ below and I’ll send you a copy.

Unless your tomorrow has 5,0000000 extra hours than the average maybe you should get that thing done, you know the one you’re been avoiding because it makes you cringe.

I find that sometimes I put off the things that matter because they FEEL big but the actual task may only take me 5 minutes.

Set a timer, remove distractions and
