We’d like to let you know that due to illness affecting both members of the First Innovators team, we’ve had to reschedule our Indigenous Women in Business Celebration Night to a new date:

While we’re sorry for the change, we’re looking forward to an even more exciting night held during NAIDOC Week—a perfect time to celebrate the strength, stories, and success of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in business.

This special event marks the final celebration of our We Mean Business program and will feature:

Taking place at Browns Mart in Darwin, this event shines a light on the achievements, challenges, and journeys of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women in business. It also marks the final celebration of our We Mean Business Women’s business program across Australia.

Meet and connect with First Nations women in business, expand your network, and celebrate the strength and success of Indigenous women in an empowering space.

Our CEO is off on an early flight this morning to Cairns for a Supply Nation event and to catch up with businesses and government looking at our next and future programs in the region.

He is then jetting off to the Gold Coast to join some amazing Indigenous businesses and our First Innovators team for our “We Mean Business” Indigenous women’s leadership and business program on starting this weekend.

What a week it is going to be as we meet 28 women and support them on their business journeys across our program.

This innovative program is empowering Indigenous and Newest Australians to build impactful businesses.

More than just an incubator, Diverse Perspectives is the intersection of impact and enterprise. Three leading Sydney impact business intermediaries—StartSomeGood, First Innovators, and Catalysr - Accelerator for Migrants & Refugees—have joined forces to support emerging Indigenous and migrant founders in bringing their social enterprise dreams to life.

Over an eight-week program, participants will receive guidance through design workshops and mentorship, including three in-person masterclasses.

This is a fully subsidized program with no cost to participants.
