☀️ Rune of the Week | 7–13 September 2026: MANNAZ ᛗ

Mannaz is the rune of the Self, humanity, cooperation, and our relationship with other people.

Its very name is connected with man, the human being. Mannaz asks us to look at ourselves as part of something larger: family, community, society, and the intricate network of people whose lives intersect with our own.

This week may bring an important realisation about who you are through the way you relate to others.

At times, it may feel as though you're looking at yourself in a mirror. A conversation, disagreement, unexpected meeting, compliment, or criticism may reveal something about yourself that you have not fully recognized before. Pay attention not only to what happens, but most importantly, to your reaction to it. Sometimes it is our reaction that teaches us more than the events themselves, revealing our values, strengths and vulnerabilities. Stay vigilant.

Mannaz also reminds us that we are not meant to do everything alone. This can be an excellent week for collaboration, asking for advice, finding the right people, or accepting help when it is offered.

There is a curious paradox within Mannaz: the better we understand ourselves, the easier it becomes to understand others.

This week, observe where you naturally belong and where you may be trying too hard to fit in. Notice the people who challenge you, teach you, and help you understand yourself better.

Perhaps the greatest wisdom of Mannaz is simple:

☀️ Rune of the Week | 31 August – 6 September 2026: SOWILO ᛋ

I hope your Algiz week has brought you the protection you needed, helped you recognize important signs, and made your path a little safer.

Now we move from protection into power.

This week’s rune is Sowilo ᛋ, the rune of the Sun, success, confidence, and victory.

Sowilo represents the life-giving force of the Sun. There is nothing timid about this rune. Its energy is direct and radiant.

This can be a week when you finally see where you are going.
Something that has felt uncertain may become clearer. You may receive confirmation, discover a solution, experience a breakthrough, or simply feel your confidence returning.

Sowilo encourages us to recognize our own Light: our abilities, experience, and individuality. Sometimes we spend so much time questioning ourselves that we forget how much we already know.

Does that sound like you? Well, it sounds like me for sure. :)

This week, stop dimming your light. Show what you can do.
Present your ideas. Take initiative. Allow yourself to be visible. If there is something you have been waiting to launch, promote, complete, or bring into the world, Sowilo gives you a powerful current to work with.

It is also a rune of vitality. Pay attention to what makes you feel alive. Where does your energy naturally increase? What activities, people, ideas, or environments make you feel stronger rather than depleted?

Sowilo reminds us that success is also about becoming more fully yourself as you follow your dreams.

Have you noticed how, in this changing reality, everything our hearts once relied upon in search of Light is being redefined: happiness, love, marriage, friendship, prosperity...

Through my work with clients, I have noticed how many of them are searching for liberation, asking themselves: What can I live without? What is genuine? What really matters?

Real conversations. Affection. Health. Freedom.

People are also questioning how much of their lives they spend doing things they don't actually want to do. How much time is lost to self-imposed obligations, expectations, and systems that give little in return?

As the pressure increases, we try to become more efficient and reclaim ownership of our resources, asking what truly belongs to us and what doesn't.

But have you noticed that the hardest resource to reclaim is our time?

Once spent, it is gone.

And when there is no time left, nothing else matters.

Today is a good day to ask yourself:

🔮 Rune of the Week | 24–30 August 2026: Laguz ᛚ

What if the most important information you receive this week doesn’t come through logic at all?

Laguz is the rune of Water, the subconscious, and the mysterious source from which life emerges.

Imagine your conscious mind as a ship. Beneath it lies an immense sea of memories, instincts, sensations, dreams, and information that we may perceive long before we can explain it. That sea is the realm of Laguz.

Laguz represents a powerful current capable of finding its way through barriers. Water does not need to break through every obstacle. It moves around it, beneath it, or through it. Laguz can therefore help us move beyond limitations and enter territories that logic alone cannot reach.

In magical practice, Laguz is one of the great runes of divination. Never tried divination before? This is the week to experiment.

Trust what comes to you, and you may be surprised by just how good you are at it. 🔮 It can strengthen mediumship, intuition, psychic perception, and our ability to receive information.

But there is a warning. Laguz is not necessarily a gentle current.

To work with its force, you must be able to contain it. The deeper the waters, the stronger the vessel must be.

I hope your Kenaz week has brought you important answers, illuminating the path ahead and helping you see something that was previously hidden.

This week, the current changes.

Our Rune of the Week is Algiz ᛉ, one of the most powerful runes of protection, and connection with higher forces.

Algiz reminds us that protection begins with awareness. Think of Algiz as your **spiritual radar**.

This week, pay closer attention to subtle signals.
Sometimes protection arrives disguised as an inconvenience.

Algiz is also associated with communication with higher realms. Its shape resembles a person standing with arms raised toward the heavens, receiving power from above. It reminds us that we are not entirely alone in navigating our path.

This is an excellent week to protect what you are building, listen carefully to your instincts, and become more conscious of where your energy is going.

And remember, protection does not mean hiding from life. Algiz teaches us how to remain open to opportunity without leaving the gates unguarded.

👻 The Hungry Ghost Festival

The Fire Monkey month carries us into the Ghost Month. In 2026, it begins on 13 August, the first day of the seventh lunar month, with the Hungry Ghost Festival falling on 27 August, the 15th lunar day.

According to Chinese tradition, during this period the boundary between the worlds of the living and the departed becomes thinner. It is a time to honour ancestors and those who have passed, while paying greater attention to spiritual protection, respectful conduct, and awareness of our surroundings.

Traditionally, people make offerings of food, incense, flowers, and other symbolic gifts to ancestors and wandering spirits. You may also use this time for prayer, meditation, cleansing your home, remembering departed family members, and expressing gratitude to those who came before you.

It is also wise to avoid unnecessary risks, and maintain respectful boundaries, both physical and spiritual.

Whether you approach Ghost Month literally, spiritually, or symbolically, remember to honour those who walked before you.

Give thanks. Settle what needs to be settled.

And enter the next season carrying less unfinished business from the past. 👻🕯️

🌑🍂 The Eclipse Corridor & the Beginning of Autumn

The eclipse corridor of 12–28 August arrives just after the Bing Shen (丙申) Fire Monkey opens the gates of autumn according to the traditional Chinese calendar.

Autumn is the season of harvest, a natural time to start tallying the results of what we planted earlier in the year. What is bearing fruit, and what has consumed your energy without producing meaningful results?

The eclipses offer a symbolic window for reassessment and adjustment. Keep what works, correct what can still be corrected, and release what has reached the end of its usefulness.

This period can also be used for personal cleansing and self-healing practices. If appropriate for you, simplifying your diet, temporarily eating plant-based foods, or observing a traditional fast can become part of a spiritual practice of purification and discipline. Fasting is not suitable for everyone, so approach it according to your individual health needs.

Think of this period as clearing the field before gathering the harvest: less excess, greater clarity, and more space for what truly matters.

At the same time, Kenaz asks for honesty. The torch shines equally on our strengths and our vulnerabilities. Growth begins the moment we are willing to see both.
