One of the things I’m most excited about for Tutors Day Out is this panel. These amazing business owners are coming from all over to share with us, their stories and how they got to where they are now.

There is SO much power in hearing from people who are actually in it....

Not people teaching from theory.
Not generic business advice.
Not fluff, and definitely not overwhelming and unrealistic BS!

Real tutoring business owners, sharing what it’s looked like to build something, back themselves, make hard decisions, and step out of just “doing the tutoring” into actually leading a business.

And our panel is going to be full of exactly that.

If your goal is to grow your tutoring business, but you keep avoiding the very thing that would help it grow… it’s time to be honest with yourself.

Procrastination doesn’t always look like doing nothing. Sometimes it looks like tweaking your website again. Creating another resource. Waiting until you “feel ready.” Telling yourself you’ll start posting next week.... Basically, making excuses!

If you know that showing up on social media would give you more exposure, more visibility and more students, but you’re not doing it, I'm going to be honest with you...that’s self-sabotage, and YOU become your own worst enemy.

And most of the time, we procrastinate due to fear and discomfort.

But here’s the reality: the tutors who are willing to do the uncomfortable thing and step into their fear are the ones who succeed. They are the ones that families see. They are the ones who build trust. They are the ones who grow.

Now this post isn't all about encouraging you to get on camera or show up more on your socials, BUT if your goal is to improve your marketing, grow your audience and increase enrolment numbers, then YES, you need to stop procrastinating and start doing!

You get to decide whether your fear or your vision will lead, because when you show up consistently, even imperfectly, that’s when things shift. That’s when enquiries increase. That’s when growth happens.

And that’s when your business starts moving in the direction you say you want it to go.
