What is CDR pathway for skills assessment at Engineers' Australia? What has to be written in it and what are the things to take care of while drafting it?
Answer is below for this. Read.
Hello Everyone. It usually happens that when you want to apply for your skills assessment as an Engineer and have to go through Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) Pathway of Engineers' Australia, you have few options to choose. First thing, CDR is a mighty technical document which must be authentic and unique in all respects without any major source of similarity or plagiarism with internet sources or other students' work submitted prior to you at Engineers' Australia. Thus, the CDR contains five documents to be specific within it, three career episodes, a summary statement and a CPD document.
Each career episode you can consider as an engineering project explained in the strict format asked by Engineers' Australia with constant word limit and enough engineering proofs contained within the episode such as models, calculation, design, simulation output, graphs etc. Another important thing to care about is no plagiarism is tolerated. This means you can't use yours friend's projects or any other simple project having plagiarism for writing your career episode. After you have written your all three career episodes, you move to drafting your summary statement having the 24 competency framework tables that must be filled using the reference of your three career episodes. This document will determine how competent and complete your documents actually are. Finally, you draft a tabular list of activities done apart from studies such as conference attendance, software training, short courses etc. to make your CPD document. All this process as a whole completes your CDR that can be used to lodge your skills assessment application.
All this process will take you quite a bit of time where you have to ensure that everything is perfect so that you are not rejected. Now, you are expected to do it yourself, which is preferable by EA. However, if you feel the need of professional help in dealing with your specific CDR case, we at Professional Skills Assessment Australia are offering following service as a Regular Package. The terms and conditions in detail about this service can be obtained by contacting us at WhatsApp. Briefly, you can use this service to obtain high quality CDR from us with an assurance that no plagiarism or other issues will be present in it and it is lodgment worthy. As an additional service, we will help you lodge the documents as well within this service charge which will be free.
However, you will have two options here to choose from. If you have read the post carefully, you should clearly understand by now that each career episode can be considered as a single engineering project. Thus, if you have engineering projects done in your academic work (both bachelors/Masters or combined is fine), we can use that given that they are plagiarism free and enough engineering proofs are there in it. If you don't have engineering projects or you have but are not usable due to lack of engineering content in them, we can use our own projects created originally as a replacement to create your CDR. Each project will be charged extra apart from the CDR charge mentioned below. The details of this can be discussed when you contact us.
Think about it, engineers from Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan and a host of other countries are mandatorily asked to go through CDR pathway if they want their overseas degrees assessed. Of course, there are exceptions such as some degrees being under any accords or you having a Master of Engineering degree from Australia. Still, all degrees from Australia also aren't fully accredited. This might stop you from pursuing your PR dream at Australian states such as Canberra (ACT), New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Northern Territory. You don't have to be left out. If you have a credible skills assessment, you always have a chance of securing good opportunities in PR front at least for 491 or 190 visas which are your best bet at the moment.
P.S. The charge mentioned here is just our service charge and does not cover EA application fee. That will be additional to our service charge which you will pay directly to EA during application.
