First drop on my Etsy shop is this boho denim embroidered skirt that I upcycled into a multifunctional shoulder/top handle bag 😊

I’m completely in love with the tactile element of the embroidery as well as the colours. I leant into its boho vibe by adding cane top handles (which can also slide up to the elbow), which makes it so easy to grab this bag and go. Plus I added a removable shoulder strap, inner zip pocket, inner slip pocket, and a full lining.

Pair this bag with classic jeans and a white tee, a boho dress or a summery linen ensemble and you’ll be good to go! 🥳

A new chapter begins! After 5 incredible years of making bags for markets and my website, I'm shifting gears (and platforms) to focus mainly on bespoke custom bags and the occasional ‘off the rack’ bag for immediate purchase (whenever I find an irresistible pair of jeans I just have to upcycle)! I’ll be selling these bags via my Etsy shop (link in bio), and let you know of any new drops here on IG/FB.

I have found over the years how much joy a custom bag brings to my customers and myself, because I’m able to deliver a product that is highly personal and personalised. My customers have given me jeans that no longer fit, clothes from late parents, their favourite fabric etc etc to create bags they actually need and love. So as a sustainable enterprise, I really believe that custom-made is the way to go. So please reach out if you’d like a custom bag, and I’ll get creative!

I've been having a blast creating these slouchy oversized bags for ! Each one is made from 2 pairs of jeans legs and a chunky belt for the strap and flap. I'd been holding onto this polka dot pair of skinny jeans for ages, waiting for the perfect moment to use them, and I think they make this bag pop 😊🪩
