On 26 August, a major flash flood struck Nepal's Rasuwa District severely affecting Syapru Besi and Timure near the Tibet border.

Until October 31st, every can and bottle donated at Silverwater and Mascot Return and Earn will raise money to provide clean water, sanitation and hygiene, cash assistance and essential items in the aftermath of disaster.

Now is the time to bring your spare drink containers into our depots. Thank you for your support 💙

Pawsitive Update! 🐾

Over the past six weeks, our amazing community donated 12,688 drink containers at Silverwater and Mascot Return and Earn, raising $1268.80 for Sydney Dogs and Cats Home. For almost 80 years, Sydney Dogs and Cats Home has reunited, rehabilitated and rehomed lost and abandoned animals - so it's incredible those 12,688 drink containers were diverted from landfill, and now supporting animals who still need care, compassion and a place to heal.

Serendipitously, today is their first day at their new Kurnell site! We're proud these funds will be used to help Sydney Dogs and Cats Home to providing the best possible care and enrichment for each animal that enters the Home.
