Recycling your empty blister packs is now easier than ever! A new Pharmacycle blister pack drop-off bin is now available at the Customer Service desk at Council’s Vincent Street offices in Ararat. Simply bring in your empty medicine blister packs and help keep these materials out of landfill.

Since the Pharmacycle program began in 2022, the Ararat Rural City community has recycled more than 309 kilograms of blister packs - the equivalent of more than 206,000 packs. That’s a fantastic local effort helping recover valuable plastic and aluminium for reuse.

Next time you’re visiting Council, bring along your empty blister packs and pop them in the new bin. Small actions can make a big difference for our environment. ♻️
