Gullal opens with a gentle burst of grapefruit, pink pepper, and salty mineral accord, like dry colours tossed into the air. As those colours would eventually settle on damp skin, Gullal turns into the feeling of a damp forest floor, dotted with wildflowers. Green and vegetal fennel along with Orris act as an ode to Thandai - Holi’s signature celebratory drink.

Incense and Dry woods, although traditionally base notes, act here as guiding threads throughout the journey, providing earthy undertones and woody depth in the dry down. A subtle smokiness from Incense might become more noticeable in dry down, especially on warmer days. This is meant to recall the effects of Holika Dahan from the previous evening.
