Such a simple way to give back; and always a rewarding one.

This week we joined Our Big Kitchen (https://www.obk.org.au/) in preparing meals for people experiencing a range of challenges including homelessness. It was both a humbling and heartwarming experience, reminding us of the power of kindness, teamwork, and compassion.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this day possible and to the incredible volunteers and organisers who do this work year-round.

Thomas Holt built his sprawling 40 room residence "Sutherland House" in Sylvania. Sutherland House was built by convict labour around the 1850s. It was sold multiple times before it was destroyed by fire in 1918.

Fun Fact: In 1867 Thomas Holt advertised in various worldwide newspapers trying to track down The Endeavour to purchase and keep as an Australian relic. He was unsuccessful.
