It's amazing how many pitches and tenders I read where the author has travelled so far off the point you wonder if they will ever come back. They need to be snappy, sharp, to the point. If not, you're wasting everyone's time.

New Year - New(ish) direction.

For those who know my background, I started my profession in environmental policy in government. After 15 years of convincing, persuading, influencing, educating, coaxing, advising, brainwashing and bribing folks, at all levels, on the importance of climate action, I decided it was time for a change.

A career change landed in my lap, and Ive had a great opportunity over the past five years working with Flagship Communications to hone my corporate communication skills - writing and designing pitches, proposals, tender documents for some of Australia's most interesting companies.
..and I found out, Im actually damn good at it!

I still work very closely with Flagship, but Im now exploring new opportunities to help entrepreneurs in the technology, renewable energy and innovation space to attract funding and fast-track their ideas. This way, I can use all my skills to help speed up our slow crawl towards being a better planet.
