Just WOW! Sydney Harbour turned on a spectacular afteroon & evening as we celebrated 50 years in business for Greg & Joanne Houston.

Greg started his business in 1976, has employed over 350 people, engaged countless subcontractors, suppliers & adapted as requried to keep charging well into the first quarter of this centruy.

Most of all, we continue to build stronger teams & systems founded in doing it right the first time priciples to ensure we continue to add to the tens of thousands of clients we have had the privledge to work with over the journey.

Opal came to life in December 2020 as a necassary evolution of Greg Houston Plumbing. This brought us to a place where it was time for the WSC team to stand under our own identify whilst still very much part of the GHP family as we aimed to do this with minimal disruption to clients.

Thank you to our staff and most of our our clients. I have personally worked with many of you for nearly 20 of this 50 year journey and am very proud on behalf of Opal & GHP to thank you all for your support.

Greg & Joanne, Thank you on behalf of the Opal team for a great celbration. More importanly, thank you for providing & enabling a platform for many of us to find the best within ourselves.

Our Opal journey is, at times, very challenging, its rarely boring and often demostrates excepotional effort from the people in our team.

There are some very exciting times ahead for opal, grounded in genuine hard work with the customer front of mind whilst we continue to strengthen our offering.

A testement to the 5 decades that got us here in the first place.

From humble beginnings to multiple companies and a small army behind you. Happy 70th Birthday to the man behind the vision of what is possible when you do the job well and look after your client.

Today we celebrate a pretty big milestone for the man behind GHP Plumbing & Civil.

For those who have worked with Greg, know he is hardworking, determined and takes a lot of pride in what he does. He has always led by example, never shying away from the long hours or hard work, and has dedicated so much of his life to building the business and the people around him.

But beyond the business, Greg is a husband, a dad, a grandfather, a mate and a mentor to many of the people who have been lucky enough to work alongside him over the years.

70 years is a milestone worth celebrating, and after 50 years of GHP, there is certainly a lot to be proud of.

Happy 70th Birthday Greg, from all of us at GHP!
