Bringing the Jeans for Genes Australia event to their members this week.

💙Donation tins at all point-of-sale locations for the month of August
💙Bake It Blue cake stall (made by staff and a HUGE hit with members and guests!)
💙Encouraging staff to wear jeans instead of uniforms for a donation
💙Encouraging members and guests to wear jeans to celebrate the day

All money raised will go directly to the Children's Medical Research Institute.

Working with registered clubs is always such an uplifting experience.

From small morning teas like this one at Moorebank Sports Club celebrating the achievements of local community members as part of their Nominate A Neighbour initiative, to the millions of dollars given to local sporting clubs and charity groups through ClubGRANTS contributions every year.

The work they do and the services they provide are solely to benefit the community. And it really does feel good to be a part of it.

The time and effort you put into communicating with someone will be directly reflected in the response you receive.

I spent the day filming with Bankstown Sports for a special internal comms project for the club's 500+ employees.

Video comms allow you to pack a lot of information into a small package which is highly engaging for your audience. The brain can also process visuals much quicker than it can text.

Looking back through photos from recent months and I came across the International Women's Day event for my high school, Santa Sabina College.

What a fantastic night! It was an honour to be asked to MC the evening, but the undisputed highlight was interviewing the panel of former students, each hugely successful in their own right, and hearing how they have each navigated life and career.

The calibre of success in the room was next level and it made me so proud to be surrounded by such talented, strong, and confident leaders.

"Every member in our community has a story to tell, and we want to share it!"

The ‘Friends By the Beach’ podcast series is a way for the club to share the captivating stories and experiences of its members.

It also acts as an invaluable tool for preserving and restoring the rich history of the club by recording and documenting the accounts of past events, milestones, and individuals, ensuring the legacy and contributions of Cronulla RSL are safeguarded for future generations.

This project is a personal favourite of mine. I find it incredibly humbling to be able to bring these stories to life.

Kerry Cattell featured in episode two. He is a Cronulla RSL Life Member and was on the club's Board of Directors for 11 years, where he served with distinction, particularly in the avenues of Finance and Development Control.
