Over time, I realised what I enjoyed most wasn’t just the admin work - it was helping people communicate better. Turning scattered thoughts into clear, authentic communication. Creating content that sounds like them, genuine, confident, and clear.

That’s how my journey into social media management and content writing began. It’s been a natural extension of what I’ve always loved doing: helping people show up clearly and confidently.

Sometimes… radio silence is exactly what’s needed.

It’s easy to feel pressure to show up online all the time. But the truth is, intentional pauses often mean something meaningful is happening behind the scenes.

Over the past few months, I’ve been head-down, working on my business, supporting clients, and quietly building out new service offerings I’m genuinely excited about. And in that space, I’ve found clarity and renewed purpose.

If you’re a busy business owner juggling all the things - and thinking about taking a break - you don’t have to ghost your audience to do it. Here are 4 ways to keep your content showing up while you take a well-earned pause:

1. Batch ahead - spend an hour creating a few strong posts in advance. Think of it as content meal prep - a few well-planned pieces can carry you through your offline time with ease.

2. Repurpose what already worked - update the caption, swap the image, or break a blog down into bite-sized tips. Great content deserves more than one run.

3. Automate with a tool like Metricool or Buffer - you can load your content, set the times, and let the tool do the rest. Bonus: no need to be online for it to happen!

4. Prioritise quality over quantity - Your audience will remember what resonated, not how often you posted.

You’re allowed to rest and stay visible, it just takes a little planning.

Staying consistent doesn’t mean being constantly present - it means being intentional. Pick one small thing you can do this week to show up your way. And feel free to reach out for some help!

Two years ago, I was just a new mum with a dream, sitting up late at night, trying to figure out how to balance family life and a career I truly loved.

Then, I came across a webinar by the VA Institute, which led me to read Futureproof Your Career by Ingrid Bayer. The book was eye-opening, but the real magic happened when I decided to attend the VA Institute’s 2023 Summit, where I met Ingrid Bayer and Angela Revell.

That summit changed everything. But what made it even more special was an intimate in-person meetup with Ingrid, Angela and Jen, the very next day. That conversation was real, raw, and exactly what I needed to take the leap.

And just like that, Esteem Virtual was born.

Fast forward two years, and I’ve had the privilege of working with amazing business owners and women in leadership - helping them get their time back, grow their businesses, and breathe a little easier when it comes to admin chaos.

This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been so worth it! The people I’ve met, the skills I’ve honed, and the work I get to do every day make it all incredibly rewarding.

It’s International Women’s Day tomorrow, and women everywhere are celebrating the incredible women who lift them up.

Personally, I’m celebrating the woman who has shaped me the most: my mum, Ana. The CEO of our family, who kept everything running like clockwork (no sick days, no holidays, and definitely no overtime pay!).

Growing up, I didn’t always see the strength behind it all. But now, I do. She led by example - resilient, determined, and always true to herself. She’s been our anchor, proving that tough times don’t last, but tough people do.

Mum and I joined the special IWD luncheon, and it was such an uplifting experience and an honour to be surrounded by so many incredible women, celebrating the power, resilience, and impact of women we have in our communities.

Here’s to all the amazing women out there—passionate, strong, and unstoppable!
