Be Well Plan - Registrations open to the public!
Research undertaken by Be Well Co (a division of the South Australia Health and Medical Research Institute) has uncovered that approximately 30% of the Australian population experiences low wellbeing. These people have not been diagnosed with a mental illness – its more that they feel low levels of satisfaction and positive emotion, they lack purpose and direction and are dissatisfied with their level of social connectedness.
This finding gave birth to a landmark research project. Rather than having a particular philosophy or solution in mind, the Be Well Co team let the data talk. They analysed over 400 studies of psychological programs, asking the simple question – “What are the interventions that actually improve wellbeing?”. And they used their findings to build the Be Well Plan. If you are interested in reading the research, click here https://www.nature.com/articles/s41562-021-01093-w.
I am really excited to be one of the first accredited trainers to deliver Be Well Plan – a program that includes 5 x two hour live interactive sessions over 5 weeks, wellbeing assessments and a mobile app that includes the library of evidence based assessments known to improve wellbeing. Participants walk away with their own Be Well Plan – a customised set of activities tailored to their needs to boost their psychological wellbeing.
More info about Be Well Plan can be found on our website at www.sustainlearning.com.au/be-well-plan.
In addition to running Be Well Plan with large organisations – I am keen to make quality learning opportunities available to individuals and small businesses as well. Offering individual bookings in public live virtual learning programs makes this possible. Our first programs start in January and are open for booking now at www.sustainlearning.com.au/book-now.
I am passionate about this program because, for so many reasons, I think the world needs more well people. I am sure that Be Well Plan will play an important role in making this happen.
Thanks for listening.
