PROJECT UPDATE | Social Housing Development – Wentworth Park Road, Glebe

Significant progress is being made on the NSW Homes Glebe project with several key milestones now achieved.

✅ Structural demolition phase is now complete
✅ Piling works for the entire site are now complete
✅ Tower Crane installed
✅ Basement capping beam is now complete

These achievements mark an important step forward in the delivery of this 43-apartment social housing development at 82 Wentworth Park Road, Glebe, and reflects the strong collaboration from the project team.

It’s exciting to see momentum building on site as the project now moves into the next stage with Bulk Earthworks commencing and inground works for the basement underway.

We’re proud to be working alongside Homes NSW and Mono Constructions to help deliver high‑quality social housing outcomes, and we look forward to sharing further updates as construction progresses.

TEAM DAY | The Vertex PM team recently got together for a day of strategy, learning, and a whole lot of fun!

After getting together for a strategy and training session, we made our way to Luna Park to take on the iconic Wild Mouse Roller Coaster — a ride that’s extra special to us, as we proudly managed its restoration earlier this year.

We wrapped up the day with a lovely dinner at Woolloomooloo Wharf, and some of the team enjoyed an overnight stay at the stylish Ovolo Woolloomooloo.

We had an amazing day blending a bit of work with loads of fun!

WELCOME | Sean Kearney, Senior Project Manager

We’re delighted to announce that Sean Kearney has joined the Vertex Project Management team as a Senior Project Manager!

With more than 15 years of experience across the government, infrastructure, and private property sectors, Sean has delivered an impressive portfolio of projects — including resorts, new build hotels, mixed-use precincts and significant office building developments (to name a few!).

In addition to his extensive project management experience, Sean has a strong background in development management, having led feasibility studies, financial modelling, and early-stage project strategy. His insight into the full development lifecycle enables him to provide enhanced support to clients from project inception through to delivery.

Sean’s addition further strengthens our team’s capability and experience in the hotels and hospitality sector, as we continue to deliver exceptional results across Australia.

NEW PROJECT | Social Housing Development - Wentworth Park Road, Glebe

We’re proud to be working with Homes NSW on the redevelopment of 82 Wentworth Park Road, Glebe.

This project will deliver 43 new social housing dwellings, including:
- 4 studio apartments
- 29 one-bedroom apartments
- 10 two-bedroom apartments

Designed to enhance both liveability and community connection, the development will also include lifts, entry ramps for improved accessibility, Public Art, Landscaped zones, terrace style apartments and 44 resident bike parking spaces.

Demolition phase has now commenced, with completion expected in May 2027.

We’re excited to be part of a project that supports the delivery of high-quality, social housing and we look forward to sharing more updates as works progress.

We look forward to partnering with the appointed Builder, Mono Constructions, on this project.

EVENT | Vertex PM Family Day 2025

Last week, the Vertex PM team got together with partners and kids for a Vertex PM Family Day! It was a gloriously sunny afternoon where we all got into the putt putt, driving range and a huge amount of pizza!

It's always great to get together with the team out of the office, but to spend an afternoon with all the Vertex PM partners and kids too was super special. Seeing all the kids having the time of their lives together was a real highlight.
