Ten years ago, I started Jodie Dang Architects with a simple belief: a home can be beautiful, comfortable to live in, and better for the environment.

A decade of designing sustainable homes across Sydney, has honestly just flown by.

So I thought it was time to properly reintroduce myself: the person behind the projects, not just the buildings.

Everything we design comes back to a few things: good light, homes that work with the climate instead of fighting it, and spaces that feel calm to live in. Our design principles are based on a Passive House: homes that are comfortable to live in and cheap to run. Ten years in, I’m more convinced than ever that this should be how we build, not the exception.

Thank you to every client who has trusted us with your home. It never stops feeling like a privilege.

Hi, I’m Jodie, I am an Architect in Sydney.

I design low energy housing allowing your home to retain 24 degrees all year round without the
use of air conditioning. This means cool in summer, warm in winter. 🏡

Our designs are light, simple, comfortable, and built around how you and your family live. It's a
standard called a Passive House, and it's the heart of how we work. 🌿
