> Coffee counts as a coping strategy (don’t judge me).
> If it feels forced, it probably is.
> Rest is not a reward—it's a right.
> You don’t have to go to every argument you’re invited to.
> Saying “I don’t know” is leadership.
> Dance like nobody’s filming.
> You can rewrite your story at any point.
> Your body is wiser than your brain sometimes.
> Apologise faster. Forgive slower.
> People will misunderstand you. Be kind anyway. 😉

Age doesn’t mean having all the answers. But it does mean learning to laugh when you don’t.

Every year I look forward to recognising some incredible influencers in my life.

🧐Age. Just a number? Or something more?

I never thought I’d be the type to get caught up about a birthday—especially not a number. But turning 40? That one hit differently.

For months, I was swimming in a sea of mixed emotions, big thoughts, and a few uncomfortable truths. Anyone else felt this way crossing a milestone decade? How did you navigate it?

After letting it all move through me—some tears, a few laughs, lots of reflection—I’ve landed in a place of peace. Of power. Of freedom.

Why?
Because I choose to look ahead with wild hope. Because I’m grateful for all the moments (yes, even the messy ones) that shaped me. Because I understand now, more than ever, that time is a privilege—and I’m not wasting a drop of it.

The fabulous 40s are here, and I’m stepping in with fierce love, full heart, and unapologetic ambition.

If you’re feeling numb, tired, and over it—listen closely.

Burnout doesn’t always roar.
Sometimes it whispers:
“I can’t care like I used to.”
“I’m showing up, but I’m not in it.”
If that’s you—it’s not weakness. It’s a warning.

Please check in with your energy like you check your phone battery.
You wouldn’t let your phone run on 2% forever—why expect yourself to?

Along my career journey and a part of building my own coaching business has been about facing rejection without being defeated by it.

Rejection at work an be tough. Not just because you didn’t get the role, the raise, the seat at the table…But because it can make you question whether you belong at the table at all.

Here’s the truth:
Rejection is NOT a reflection of your worth—it’s a redirection of your path.
Even if it stings. Even if it feels personal. Even if you're tempted to shrink.
Growth doesn’t always come wrapped in a “yes.”
Sometimes it comes wrapped in a "not this... but something better."
Trust that what's meant for you won’t miss you—and when it does arrive, you’ll meet it stronger, wiser, more you.

To rebuild belief after rejection:
🧠 Reframe the story. Ask: “What might this ‘no’ be protecting or preparing me for?” Write 3 possibilities.
📣 Affirm your evidence. Write down 5 times you've succeeded, led, or made a meaningful impact—even if no one gave you a title for it. This is your real resume.

I've learned to rewrite rejection into future rewards because of the growth I gained from it. You can too.

🥰 Precious moments like these need to be shared.

2 years ago my son whispered over a lunch sitting while we were on holiday "mum you are my best friend". My heart and whole being just transcended with joy.

Today, he still lets me know I'm his bestie and I am forever grateful he feels this way. Because that's a role I will always be ready to play for him when he needs it most.

You’re at the start of a new chapter. It could be exciting yet you don’t know if you have the energy to rebuild again.”The uncertainty. The vulnerability. The quiet behind-the-scenes work that no one claps for.

If you’re tired—mentally, emotionally, spiritually—you’re not weak. You’re human.
You’ve carried a lot. And it makes sense that the idea of beginning again feels heavy.

But here’s what I know:
You don’t have to rebuild it all at once.
You just have to begin again—with gentleness, not urgency.
Because sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is whisper:
“I’m not done. I still believe there’s more.”

Here’s how to meet your restart with compassion:
🧭 Define your next micro-move. One decision, one action, one conversation that points toward what matters. Start there.
🧘🏽‍♀️ Prioritise energy before effort. Ask yourself each morning:
What does my body/mind/spirit need to feel safe to move today?
Then honour the answer.

You can do this, I believe in you.

Let’s talk about that uncomfortable middle ground.

The space between “I want more for my life” and “I have no idea how to make it happen.”

I know that space well. For me, the lesson has been this:
Clarity doesn’t come first— action does. 🌟

We wait for confidence, certainty, or some divine signal… but what really moves the needle is showing up, one small brave move at a time. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just has to be real. That’s where growth begins.

If you’re stuck right now, try this:
👉 Ask yourself, what’s one thing I can do today that my future self will thank me for?

Now go do that—with compassion, not pressure. Your next chapter doesn’t need permission. Just a little momentum. You’ve got this!!

Confidence doesn’t magically arrive one morning, wrapped in clarity and courage.
> It shows up after you do.
> After the shaky first step.
> After the awkward try.
> After the moment you choose to show up anyway.
> Confidence is not a prerequisite.
> It’s a result of action, not a requirement for it.

SO DON'T WAIT. Wear the outfit. Speak the idea. Send the email. Launch the thing. And trust that confidence will catch up.

Because the real flex? It’s not having zero fear.

It’s moving with it—and making space for your power to rise.
