Currently they are assisting 3 families

🍕“PIZZA FOR A CAUSE” aims to support these vulnerable families to have permanent housing.

📣 On Monday Nov 22 Pizza Luna will be hosting another fundraiser evening with 100% of funds raised used to assist these 3 families in need. Your generosity is needed to assit these vulnerable families.

A - I have been working with in the web development and IT technology space for nearly 20 years. I originally started in desktop support and gradually moved into web design where website were still fairly non database driven ( static ). Thereafter I gravitated into more Dynamic Websites using Various Databases & Content Management System to manage the overall content of the website.

When starting may business back in 2009 ( webk.com.au ), the importance of responsive website design & in particular when the iPhone was invented, UI / UX design become strategic driver for a well designed website & mobile app user experience.

Online user experience, creative branding & a solid Digital Marketing strategy have been our main focus.

Q - Where is the online space moving towards and as you can see there has been phenomenal growth in online sales over the last 5+ years ?

A - There is no question the movement from bricks and mortar stores to online stores / mobile apps increased dramatically. Covid 19 has been a game changer, in particular for the online space, SEO & SEM are absolutely important for visibility in google search results.

In the future it is expected that websites will become ‘smart sites’ that aim to create the optimal user experience, blending both brand storytelling and performance.

Web developers, designers and strategists will set to fine-tune transactional approaches, using landing pages and removing the hard sell to create more positive free flowing experiences for all users. AI, Chatbots, & Sophisticated Marketing Automation are just to name a few.

Q - How can webk.com.au help businesses in delivering an optimum business e-strategy & Digital Marketing ?

A - We can undertake a comprehensive analysis and review of their current Digital Space & provide our creative ideas moving forward as follows ;

A - We are involved with various projects that are currently being undertaken by various groups within our Armenian Australian Community, however we also wanted to be part of the Armenian Business initiative towards helping our fellow Armenian brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers and kids that are displaced due to what has undertaken in the last 40 or so days in helping to build a new life in where it is safe.

Over the next three months starting from December 2000 till the end of February, 2021 , Webk will be donating 30% of gross sales from all our services which you can find on our website webk.com.au to the Himnadrum and other humanitarian projects.

Dear Friends,

We had the immense pleasure of having an interesting Q & A with the proprietor of Pizza Luna, Armond Hayrapetian, who last Sunday , along with his wife Lena Hayrapetian, hosted and organised the Envoy Hostel Pizza Luna fundraiser which helped to raise $23,100.00 for the Envoy Hostel, Yerevan which houses 40 Artaskh Regugess.

Q - Armond how long have you been working within the food and hospitality industry for ?

A - I have been working within the food and hospitality industry for at least 18+ years and have been the proprietor of Pizza Luna Artarmon, for 15 of those years. Our business these days is mainly a pick and delivery because it is all about quality and convenience.

Q - What made you organise this unique humanitarian fundraiser for the Envoy hostel Armenia?

A - When I saw a my close friend Eric Karapetian, the proprietor of the Envoy Hostel with his wife Ani, doing exceptionally great things in opening the doors of the hostel and housing 40 Artaskh refugees, I thought to myself I needed to do my bit and help them out with this huge responsibility, the stories that came from the hostel, propelled me to organise a fundraiser at Pizza Luna to assist them during the humanitarian crisis.

Q - Tell us a little more about the Pizza Luna Envoy Hostel fundraiser and what effect did it leave on you ?

A - We did not fully comprehend how these humanitarian fundraisers were galvanising the community, but we knew we had to prepare very well in servicing the cooking in a short period of time in order for it to be effective and achieve our goal of raising much needed funds.

I felt people had been deeply touched by the Artaskh crisis and wanted to help the Envoy Hostel who had gone the extra mile in housing the 40 refugees. The results speak for themselves raising $23,100 in such a short period of time was a Blessing.

Q - What advice do you have to other Australian business who want to organise their unique business humanitarian fundraisers for the Himnadrum & Aid for Artaskh ?

A - Please do not hold back, organise your humanitarian fundraiser in your unique way as every bit counts. Even though the Artaskh war has stopped, there is so much humanitarian work to do in helping the refugees and Artaskh to get back on their feet. And remember Teamwork is essential in making the ordinary extraordinary.

Armond & Lena a superb effort once again and we highly admire for your generosity and sincerity in these existential times.

Indeed Armond, you went out on a limb, collaborated superbly with both the Envoy Hostel & Pizza Luna team and the results speak for themselves

Not only Pizza Luna, but all the other Australian businesses, who have organised these unique humanitarian fundraisers, are truly admired and respected for opening up their establishments and let’s not forget to continually support them.

As we say ‘ actions speak much much louder than emotional words and lovely ideas’ .

Hopefully, many other Australian businesses outside of the food and hospitality sector , can organise their unique fundraisers, because one thing for sure these humanitarian fundraisers have gone gang busters.

Best Regards
The Australian Armenian Business Humanitarian Fundraising Team.

P.S If a business needs a hand to organise a fundraiser, please reach out we have some a very talented and knowledgeable team , who can help a little.
