The role summary
You will lead the day-to-day running of our projects, working closely with our co-founders and various other project managers.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of project management or direct experience in digital marketing, design, or web development is preferred.
- Expertise in project management methodologies like Agile and familiarity with different web technologies.
- Healthy history of successfully completing digital projects and managing teams locally or internationally.
- Written and verbal communication. You have excellent communication skills, able to connect with people at various levels across different teams. This is essential. COMMUNICATION IS THE SECRET TO SUCCESSFUL PROJECT MANAGEMENT.
- Managing projects through project management software like Teamwork.
- Strategic thinking and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously which have competing demands
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Experienced in developing project plans and implementation documentation

Responsibilities
- Drive, drive, drive, drive, drive projects (hope that’s clear)
- Keeping the tempo of the team at a high level but also orchestrating downtime as needed.
- Collaborate with the Digital Strategy Team and other key stakeholders in the design and planning of projects
- Convert projects into a digital form in our project management system to allow transparency and tracking for all stakeholders involved
- Be able to scope and delegate task assignments and action items as required
- Keep track of all ongoing projects and prioritise for departments in order to meet broader company objectives
- Build, schedule, delegate, and manage all day to day tasks for different projects across different team members
- Work hand-in-hand with the team in executing and monitoring the deliverables
- Practice diligent follow-through on commitments from accountable persons per project
- Collaborate with key team members in improving the project management systems and other operational processes
- Optimally apply or delegate to appropriate resources for the efficient success of our projects
- Report on updates of project position in a reliable and clear manner
- Have a strong ability to highlight urgencies so as to prevent delays or losses of projects
- Maintain a resource and project implementation plan for each project assigned
- Ensure projects are transitioned to internal support teams in a timely manner
- Establish milestones and manage adherence to project plans and schedules
- Manage customer projects following a defined project management methodology and approach
- Responsible for the schedule and technical performance of projects
- Ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place for sign off

Here’s the exact job description:

At xAgency, our Marketing Team is the “tip of the spear” that drives the success of the entire company. And as a Media Buyer, you will be standing at the very point of that spear.

You are expected to be a relentless marketer responsible for generating sales and profit DAILY.

Success in this role requires a solid grasp of marketing fundamentals, constant study of our client avatar, and knowledge of the Facebook ads ecosystem.

You’ll be responsible for one or more of our high converting funnels with a set monthly budget and KPIs.

You’ll be required to research and write your own ad copy, as well as work with our in-house Creative Team to source the best creative assets for your ads.

You will be optimising ads and funnels to help xAgency grow from a 6 figure business to a 7 figure business while gaining invaluable experience.

We are NOT looking for someone to train.

We are looking for someone who can actually operate at a similar level as ourselves, but has more capacity and experience in Facebook marketing.

You’ve got to be able to hit the ground running from DAY ONE.

You should be comfortable in managing over 10k per amount in adspend and up to 100k per month.

We are a successful digital agency and our requirements are someone with great experience selling in the digital space, this includes websites, digital marketing services, consulting services to name but a few. We are a full services agency. In a word, we’re after a Business Development Manager who can formulate and manage sales strategies. They need to assist with the driving of the sales funnels formulated by the business with high regard shown to those that can provide their OWN solutions and strategies to help propel us forward.

This role is based in Australia, and working on-site in our Sydney offices.
