In 2016 …I had an idea

After running a party directory, blog and vendor community …

What if I could bring together business owners across the event industry for a day of connection, learning and inspiration?

There was nothing else like it
So I created it and we hosted our first Celebrate Conference

The testimonials were overwhelmingly positive and it was clear ..

Event industry vendors needed this type of in person connection and in person learning

This is the heart of the whole event

Everyone is so busy helping others have the most incredible celebrations

But who is supporting those who are creating this joy in other’s lives ?

Who is putting on an experience for them so they can connect and find each other but ALSO walk away with the business tools they need ?

I fell pregnant with my 4th child so we didn’t have a conference in 2017 but I was back in 2018 hosting our 2nd conference while having kids age 1,3,5 and 7

Since then I’ve continue to host this opportunity based on the testimonials and the requests from the industry in 2019,2022,2023 and 2025 and now hosting my 7th one in 2026 this time in Melbourne on August 11

Over the years I also developed the Celebrate Society membership and Celebrate online magazine

The heart of everything has been the same

Supporting event industry vendors so they can continue to thrive in business, bring joy to other families and have the freedom that their own business brings

I don’t have a big team behind me
I’m not a huge company

But it has been a true joy and honour of my career to bring together the BEST of the event industry to speak at these events and to be in the room.

Someone told me last year - who came to the conference for their first time after being invited numerous times

“Tanya I wish I came all the times before you asked me to come. Now I’ll be there for all the future ones”

Many have shared with me they had been so nervous to come to the Celebrate Conference

They didn’t know anyone

They had anxiety

They were nervous

However they came and then told me they were so surprised at how friendly and welcoming everyone was

This event attracts people who are open to connection and learning. Egos are left at the door and everyone is excited to come together

You’re also seated at round tables so you can easily meet a few people straight away.

If you’re nervous - you aren’t forced to do any awkward networking

If you feel most comfortable to stay at your table you can simply do that

If you need to pop outside for a breather during the day - go right ahead

It is a positive and uplifting atmosphere and not one where you’ll feel stuck / suffocated in a crowded closed in room
