Waste Options Australia

Waste Options Australia Waste Options provides waste management services for all sizes of businesses throughout Australia

Our Journey

Waste Options was founded in April 2015 in Sydney by the owners Sandra and John with aspirations and a plan to always be a different offering to customers looking for waste management solutions. Fast forward to 2021, Waste Options has 22 employees all across Australia with an administrative head office based in Sydney. With a huge diverse portfolio of clients from small businesses th

rough to large national customers such as BP Australia, Stockland Group, Harvey Norman, Federal and state governments. Waste Options in 2018 became a triple certified organisation to;
AS/NZS-4801:2001 OH&S Management Systems
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems
ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems

Waste Options in 2020 invested heavily in the business intelligence side of environmental reporting and operational efficiencies. This development has a continuous improvement program which ensures we do not stop developing as demands change with our clientele. Our business model has always strived to be a credible service company first and we will always be looking for ways to reduce our clients waste that is being dumped into landfill. Around the globe new recycling options are being created by entrepreneurial people, but not embraced by the large waste companies. Our team are very invested in the environment and therefore are continually investigating new technologies, solutions and companies that want to partner with us to provide our clients with the latest & most cost effective options in the market. Today there is no shortage of national waste companies that can provide services throughout Australia, but as we experienced while working for these companies, there is not one that was the best price, solution and service everywhere. Customers are forced to either split the contract which causes all sorts of headaches dealing with multiple suppliers or award all to one waste company and do so at a higher cost. So, to combat this we have developed and partnered with the providers who are the best in each region, and it enables us to provide flexible services that the large companies cannot offer on their own. Get on board and be a part of the change where you will be treated fairly, and it will be our privilege to have you as a client.

At Waste Options, we believe in supporting the communities that support us. 💚💛

We are incredibly proud to be getting behind our wonderful customer, Ingenia Rental Durack, for their upcoming Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea on Friday, 12th June.

This year’s event is deeply close to everyone's hearts. The community is dedicating the morning to the memory of Al Grange, a much-loved resident and Ingenia’s dedicated site groundsman for the past 15 years, who recently passed away after a brief battle with bowel cancer.

Last year, this amazing community raised over $1,700 for vital cancer research, prevention, and support services - and this year, we want to help them go even bigger!

To help raise funds, One of our amazing National Account Managers Kirsty put together two awesome pet care raffle baskets (proudly sporting Waste Options colours 🐶🐱).

How you can help: Ingenia Rental Durack is currently looking for local businesses to donate items, hampers, vouchers, or services for their raffle. It’s a wonderful cause and a great way to promote your business to the local community.

📍 Event Details: Friday, 12th June at Ingenia Rental Durack. 💬 If you’d like to donate a raffle prize or get involved, reach out to the Ingenia Rental Durack Community Manager directly, or scan the QR code in the photos.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a massive difference. Let’s come together to honor Al’s legacy and kick cancer’s butt. ☕🍰

Look closer. 🌲👇

Our National Account Manager, Claire, was on the road in the Tallangatta - Corryong region on the NSW/VIC border. She sent back these striking photos.

It’s hard to tell from a distance, but these trees are actually completely burnt. On January 6th this year, a massive bushfire tore through this landscape. Every single bit of green you see here is brand new growth - nature fighting its way back.

A powerful reminder of resilience right on the border. Shoutout to Claire for capturing this, and to the incredible local communities continuing to thrive. 💚

Holy cow! Look who we found out on the road... 🐄🤠

Our National Account Manager, Jane, is always traveling across the country to check in on our clients' sites, but her latest stop took her straight through the legendary "Cow Town" (Cowaramup, right near Margaret River)!

For anyone who hasn't been, this place completely commits to the theme. There are life-sized fiberglass Friesian cows occupying almost every single corner, park bench, and shop front.

afe travels on the rest of your road trip, Jane! Keep your eyes on the road and watch out for the herd. 🛣️✨

Have you ever driven through Cowaramup? Drop your best cow pun or your favorite Margaret River travel tip for Jane in the comments below! 👇

Crossing borders 🗺️🚛

Our mini bin is officially checking South Australia off the bucket list. From the Red Centre to the coast, we’re proving that no job is too far and no state is too big for the little bin that could.

Spotted here at the SA border - where should we head next? 👇

Legend Meets Legend: Mildura Edition 🥩🔥

Look who finally tracked down the boss! Dave made a pitstop at Hog’s Breath Mildura for a long-overdue catch-up with the Hog himself. 🐗

There’s nothing quite like that Mildura hospitality - and let’s be honest, nothing beats that 18-hour slow-cooked Prime Rib. Between the legendary steaks and the even more legendary company, it’s safe to say Dave’s found his happy place.

Today is about the women who do it all. 🌸

To the mums who are in the thick of it, the grandmothers who have seen it all, and the great-grandmothers who started it all.

To the new mums navigating their first year, the step-mums building new bridges, and the foster mums providing a safe harbor. To the "basically like a mum" aunts and mentors, the pet mums, and those who are desperately wanting to be mums.

We also hold space today for those who find this day difficult - those who are missing their mums, and those mums who are missing their children.

Motherhood isn’t just a title; it’s a way of moving through the world with love. To every woman playing that role: we see you, we appreciate you, and we celebrate you. 🥂✨

Our National Account Manager Dave has been coming through with the goods and snapping up some amazing photos on his travels.

From Seal Bay to Flinders Chase, these two are making quite the pair. It turns out the mini bin is the perfect size for island hopping. 🚙💨
