The Modern Customer

We’re excited to unveil the revamped Chance2Change website! This project perfectly captures the modern developer-client dynamic: Jessica Gaddes used ChatGPT to craft the design, and we brought her vision to life. It’s a great example of how AI can streamline collaboration. Thanks for the trust and the great design, Jessica!

It’s great to be back on board supporting the Australia Philippines Chamber of Commerce Inc. (APCCI). Through our "Ethical AI for Australian Communities" initiative, we’re looking forward to reconnecting with the APCCI community to help bridge the gap between innovation and ethical tech.

To date, our Vibecamp platform has surpassed the $3,000 mark in total revenue, with an impressive 85% of that income going directly back to the contractors doing the work.

This milestone reflects the growing momentum of the Vibecamp initiative, which continues to foster a sustainable ecosystem for new AI talents to thrive.

By prioritising fair compensation and community-driven opportunities, we are proving that a more equitable model for professional collaboration isn't just possible even in this AI age—it's already happening.

Everyone is welcome! Whether you’re part of a local community group that’s struggling with admin friction or you’ve just started "vibe coding" and want to build something that actually matters, come grab a coffee. We are currently collating Bluehex Blocks—standalone tools that solve real problems today and will eventually dock into our single 1-stop solution for Australian non-profits, charities and communities. We’re all about open doors and high-energy builds—it’s simply a chance to lean in with your skills (or your community insights) and create real impact for the public good.

We’re excited to welcome the Philippine Australian Multicultural Association, Inc. (PAMAI) as a new community supported by BlueHex by Code.Sydney. While rooted in the Filipino community, PAMAI is building a platform designed to support and connect multicultural associations across Australia. Together, we’re proud to empower a more inclusive, connected future through technology.

We have just delivered a recent change request from one of our supported communities. The City of Parramatta Eisteddfod Society Inc. has been championing the performing arts since 1951, creating a safe, encouraging space for young people across Greater Western Sydney and beyond to build confidence, creativity, and talent through eisteddfod competitions.

Big thanks to Stephen Melben Corral for handling the update in a timely manner.

We’ve wrapped up our annual kickoff review across all Bluehex accounts.

At the start of each year, we take a step back to revisit every implementation supporting the communities we work with. We reassess alignment with their mission and identify opportunities to further improve our solutions.

Our priority is simple. Customer success comes first. When the organisations we support thrive, it reinforces the value of the work we do alongside them.

2026 marks Code.Sydney’s 10th year, and we’re leaning into what we do best: being Techies for Communities.

A decade in, we’re choosing focus over noise and depth over breadth. This year is about showing up consistently, building responsibly, and partnering with people who trust us to turn technology into real-world impact.

Code.Sydney will continue backing the organisations that believed in us, delivering a bespoke, composable CRM purpose-built for Australian non-profits and charities, designed to evolve alongside their missions.

Bluehex will double down on pragmatic, agentic AI, shipping real solutions on our trusted stack: FastAPI + SQLite + Vanilla JS, deployed cleanly on Fly.io.

Vibecamp will deepen collaboration with our partners in the Philippines, especially Data Engineering Pilipinas and CirroLytix, strengthening cross-border learning, delivery, and community-led innovation.

Ten years in, we’re not chasing hype. We’re building tools, trust, and teams that last.

2026 is about focus, craft, and community impact. Let’s get to work.

Lily Duong is a member of the first cohort of our Vibecamp initiative. For her capstone project, Lily built an interactive web app that helps families compare and match NSW schools, bringing together publicly available education data to make school options easier to understand and navigate. The app turns complex datasets into clear, practical insights that support more informed school choices.

At Vibecamp, we’re committed to nurturing builders who create with purpose, turning open data into thoughtful, human-centred tools that support individuals, families, and communities through technology.

There are over 200 Filipino-Australian communities across Australia organising fiestas, cultural events, concerts, town hall meetings, and community fundraisers, often using multiple tools just to manage and promote them.

We are building something to bring all of this into one place. A community-first platform for Filipino communities to list, discover, and share events across Australia. This is a pro bono project by Code.Sydney, aimed at helping organisers save money on costly event platforms so more funds can go back into the community. Watch this space.

Chloe Yang is a member of the first cohort of our Vibecamp initiative.

For her capstone project, Chloe built an interactive web app exploring Australian maternal health, using publicly available data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) to make trends in gestational diabetes and hypertensive disorders during pregnancy easier to understand.

At Vibecamp, we’re committed to nurturing builders who create with purpose, turning open data into practical tools that support individuals, families, and communities through thoughtful technology.
