🌟 PLAYER GRADUATION & SIGNING 2027 🌟

A massive congratulations to Junior Narimbi on officially graduating from the Joga Bonito Full-Time Elite Program and being offered a position with the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy U13 NPL squad for the 2027 season! 🔴⚫️

Junior is a naturally left-footed winger/left back with tremendous potential, and we are extremely proud to see him earn this opportunity.

Throughout his time in our Full-Time Elite Program, Junior continued to develop his technical ability, confidence and understanding of the game. Through our academy identification matches, Junior was given the platform to showcase his ability and was identified for an opportunity with one of Australia’s biggest A-League clubs.

This is exactly what our pathway is about — developing players, creating opportunities and providing exposure to the highest possible level. ⚽️

Junior’s progression into the Western Sydney Wanderers Academy is a fantastic achievement for him and his family, and we couldn’t be happier to see the next chapter of his football journey begin.

⚽️ NEW COACH ANNOUNCEMENT | ABRAHAM MAJOK ⚽️

Joga Bonito Football Academy is excited to officially welcome Abraham Majok to our coaching staff for the upcoming season! ❤️💚

Abraham brings a wealth of professional football experience, having represented Western Sydney Wanderers and Central Coast Mariners in the A-League, as well as playing professionally abroad in South Africa and Cyprus. He has also represented Australia at Young Socceroos U20 & U23 level as well as playing for South Sudan national team.

Abraham will take charge of our U8 Elite squad while also working across our Development Program, helping guide and develop the next generation of Joga Bonito players.

Having played alongside Abraham at youth level, I know firsthand the quality, professionalism and experience he will bring to our academy. His journey from professional player to coach will provide our young players with invaluable knowledge and mentorship.

We’re extremely excited to have him on board.

What a season for our Joga Bonito Full-Time Elite Program!

Fantastic performances across all of our teams, but most importantly, a huge amount of development, progression and growth throughout the season.

We’re extremely proud of the continued growth of our identity, playing style and Joga Bonito DNA across every age group. The progress shown by our players throughout 2026 has been outstanding and is a credit to the work being put in every week.

A big thank you to the SPL competition, run by the Magic Group, for continuing to provide our players with a platform to compete in high-quality, elite games every weekend.

We’ll be back for the Summer Season, as we begin our preparations and build towards an even bigger 2027 season. 🔥

Finally, thank you to every player, coach and family who has been part of our 2026 Full-Time Elite journey. Your commitment, support and belief in our program continues to drive the academy forward.

The group has continued to develop, improve and strengthen throughout the season, with their biggest progression coming in the second half of the year — finishing the season as League One Champions! 🥇🏆

A massive effort from our U10s, finishing 2nd overall in the SPL Championship.

Unfortunately, the boys fell just short once again, but they can be extremely proud of the season they have put together. Their hard work, commitment and development throughout the year has been fantastic to see.

Joga Bonito Football Academy would like to congratulate our Director, Carlos Ribeiro, on his appointment as Co-First Grade Coach of Western City Rangers and on making his First Grade coaching debut.

This is another fantastic step in Carlos’ coaching journey and a proud moment for everyone connected with Joga Bonito.

Carlos’ continued progression into senior football brings valuable experience and knowledge back into our academy, benefiting our players, coaches and overall football program.
