We’re Hiring: Senior Credit Coach Mortgage Broking
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Credit Coach to join our growing mortgage broking business. This is a key role suited to a seasoned professional who thrives on coaching brokers, strengthening deal quality, and driving consistent lending outcomes.
You’ll partner closely with brokers, assessors, and lenders to review, structure, and elevate applications prior to submission—ensuring alignment with policy, compliance, and best client outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
• Lead credit coaching and uplift capability across the broker and assessment team
• Review complex credit scenarios and structure deals aligned to lender policy
• Pre-assess applications to maximise approval outcomes and minimise rework
• Provide expert guidance on PAYG and self-employed income (incl. company & trust structures)
• Liaise with lenders and internal stakeholders to navigate policy and exceptions
• Ensure adherence to responsible lending obligations and internal SLAs
• Maintain high-quality documentation across CRM and lodgement systems
About you:
• Proven experience in mortgage broking with strong credit expertise
• 5+ years in lending, credit assessment, or broking environments
• Deep understanding of Australian lending policies and credit reporting systems
• Confident in managing complex scenarios and providing clear, strategic direction
• Strong stakeholder engagement and coaching capability
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and outcomes-driven
