Part 3 of my Complete Wardrobe System 🤍
Accessories Shopping Session.

A little BTS as I help my client Lauren complete her wardrobe with the finishing touches. Thank you, Lauren, for kindly allowing me to share parts of your styling journey.

One thing I hear from clients all the time is that they struggle to accessorise their outfits.

More often than not, they’re missing a few key foundation pieces: white leather sneakers, loafers/flats, a neutral heel, ankle boots, a versatile everyday bag, classic belts and simple jewellery that can be worn on repeat.

That’s why I dedicate an entire styling session to accessories. These pieces work across multiple outfits, tie the wardrobe together and make getting dressed so much easier.

Stay tuned for part 4… 💫

Come behind the scenes of my Complete Wardrobe System, Part 2.

After the wardrobe edit, the next step is the clothing shopping session.

Before my client ever steps foot in a store, I’ve already spent hours researching, sourcing and pre-selecting pieces that align with her role, lifestyle, colouring, body shape and wardrobe goals.

For Lauren, a corporate leader and global speaker, the focus was creating a wardrobe that reflected the level she is operating at while also making getting dressed easier.

From casual office days and board meetings to work travel, speaking engagements and media appearances, every piece needed to earn its place.

During the shopping session, we try on a wide range of options, assess fit, colour, fabrication and versatility, and identify what works and what doesn’t.

The goal is to build a strategic wardrobe where everything works together and every purchase has a purpose.

Stay tuned for Part 3, where I source all the accessories needed to complete the looks.

One of the most common things I hear is:

“I’ll do it once I’ve lost a few kilos.”

“I’ll book in once I’m feeling better about myself.”

“I’ll update my wardrobe once I’ve reached my goal weight.”

The problem is that the goalpost often keeps moving.

Months turn into years, and in the meantime you’re still standing in front of a wardrobe that doesn’t feel like you, wearing clothes that don’t fit properly, and not feeling your best when you leave the house.

What many women don’t realise is that feeling better in your clothes isn’t always about changing your body.

Often it’s about understanding how to dress it.

The right fit, proportions, colours, fabrics and silhouettes can completely change how an outfit looks and feels. There are so many styling techniques that can create balance, shape and styling proportions without needing to lose a single kilo.

I’ve seen women lose the weight and still feel stuck.

I’ve also seen women make a few strategic changes to their wardrobe and immediately feel more confident, comfortable and like themselves again.

You deserve clothes that fit your body as it is today.

Not the version of you that might exist six months from now.

Because life doesn’t start when you lose weight, and neither should your wardrobe. ✨

Behind every great wardrobe is a lot more strategy than people realise.

Most people think the process starts with shopping, but for my client Lauren, it started with getting really clear on what she wanted her wardrobe to do for her. As a corporate leader and global speaker, she wasn’t looking for a complete reinvention. She wanted to refine what was already working, elevate her style and create more versatility across her wardrobe.

In this first session, we worked through her goals, lifestyle, body shape, Pinterest inspiration, colour analysis and wardrobe edit. By the end, we had a clear direction, a wardrobe that felt more organised and cohesive, and a strong shopping list ready for our shopping session.

A huge thank you to Lauren for allowing me to document and share her journey.

A little snapshot of May 🤍

A month filled with wardrobe transformations, autumn outfits, time with friends, wedding planning and plenty of moments with Cherry 🐴 .

We locked in our wedding venue🤩, I started designing my custom wedding gown, helped clients create wardrobes that make getting dressed easier, and made time for some fun along the way.

As Cherry gets older, I’ve become even more aware of how special our time together is, so I’ve been soaking up every cuddle, walk and moment I can.
Feeling grateful for the big milestones and the little moments in between.

One of the biggest misconceptions about working with a stylist is that you’re going to walk away looking like a completely different person or in a style that doesn’t feel ‘you’.

That’s never been my approach.

I’m not here to force trends onto you or dress you in things that don’t feel aligned. The goal is for you to still feel like YOU, just more refined, elevated and confident in the way you present yourself.

My styling process is very identity-led.

Before we even step foot in the shops, we spend time understanding what you’re drawn to, what feels exciting, what no longer feels aligned, and where you want to take your style moving forward.

Because great style isn’t about copying someone else.
It’s about creating a wardrobe that reflects who you are now, your lifestyle, your goals, your personality and the way you want to show up moving forward.

Sometimes that means refining what you already own.
Sometimes it means introducing new pieces or combinations you wouldn’t have considered yourself.

And sometimes it means stepping slightly outside your comfort zone in a way that still feels authentic to you.

But the best transformations always happen when there’s openness and trust in the process.

You’ll never leave feeling like someone else.
You’ll leave feeling more like yourself than before. 🤍

There was a time where I would buy pieces simply because they were beautiful.

The statement heels that looked incredible sitting on the shelf.

The dress that felt amazing in the fitting room… but never actually got worn.

The sequinned piece that I convinced myself I’d ‘find an occasion for.’

And over time, I realised I wasn’t shopping for my real life.

I was shopping for fantasy versions of myself.

Now when I shop, I pay attention to why I’m drawn to something in the first place.

Am I genuinely going to wear this?
Does it work with multiple outfits?
Does it suit my lifestyle, my body shape, my colouring and the way I want to show up?

Or do I just appreciate how beautiful it is?

Because there’s a big difference between admiring a piece… and actually needing it in your wardrobe.

A wardrobe full of ‘pretty things’ can still leave you feeling like you have nothing to wear.

And usually, this is one of the biggest reasons wardrobes stop functioning properly.

The goal isn’t to own beautiful clothes.

The goal is to own beautiful clothes that actually get worn. 🤍

Tell me honestly… what’s the item you always buy but rarely wear? let me know in the comments 🙏

“How is this different from just going shopping?”

Honestly, a lot of my clients have already spent years shopping and trying to solve their wardrobe situation before working with me.

They’ve bought beautiful pieces, spent good money, and still felt like their wardrobe wasn’t fully working for them.

Usually because there’s been no real structure or strategy behind it all.

When we work together, we’re looking at the bigger picture, your lifestyle, your work environment, your personal style, what’s missing, what no longer works, and how everything needs to fit together cohesively.

So when we do shop, there’s a clear plan behind every piece we buy.

By the end of the process, you’re left with complete outfits, clearer direction, and a wardrobe that feels far easier to wear day to day.

If you’ve been feeling stuck with your wardrobe and want support creating a wardrobe that feels more cohesive, polished and aligned with where you’re at now, you can book in a complimentary Style Strategy Session via the link in my bio ✨

April felt like a bit of everything.

Some really beautiful moments, some slower ones I didn’t plan for, and a reminder that not every month needs to be full to be meaningful.

Between wedding venue visits to client transformations, time with family, and being forced to slow down for a bit… it was a mix of life, work, and everything in between.

I’ve been leaning more into rewearing pieces I already own, refining what actually works, and letting things feel a little less rushed.

Sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

30/04/2026

As we move into autumn and winter, most wardrobes go one of two ways… too casual, or too bulky.

And somewhere in that, you stop feeling confident in what you wear.

You want pieces that are practical, comfortable, and still polished.

Think better fabrics, tailored shapes, and layers you can take on and off without the outfit falling apart.

If you’re wanting to fix your wardrobe properly, this is exactly what we do inside The Complete Wardrobe System.
