Yesterday we said goodbye to Trixie 🐾 she met many of my regional customers on our country trips together, so she is saying goodbye. 💔💔
Six years ago you came into our lives after having two previous families, but somehow sweet girl, you chose us — and we will forever be grateful that you did.
From the moment you arrived, you filled our days with happiness, laughter, joy, and so many beautiful memories together. Our lives quickly revolved around you; if Trixie couldn’t come, then it simply wasn’t worth going.
You taught me the true meaning of unconditional love and showed me the incredible bond that can exist between a dog and their human family. The excited tail wagging every time we walked through the door, the endless cuddles, and the love you gave so freely to Jim and I will stay in our hearts forever.
You were the best-travelled girl — always ready for a road trip, adventures in the caravan, visiting country pubs, even the ones you were not allowed into, or climbing onto the crisp white sheets in fancy hotels as though they were made just for you.
Your calm, gentle, and peaceful nature made everyone love you. You came into our lives for a reason, and before long you became Jim’s loyal little companion, our precious Trixie girl. You were a true little champion, beating cancer and going through chemo, you even shared the same cancer drugs as your Jim 😅
You had the best of everything from a doggie car seat, to reiki healing, to every doggie accessory imaginable, even your Moet water bowl and you deserved it all.
Those beautiful dark brown eyes spoke a thousand words without a cue. You could stare so deeply into ours for minutes on end that felt like a lifetime long.
🤍Forever loved, forever near, forever our Princess Trixie girl 💔💔💔
