In this case, it was hidden above the ceiling.

The brief:
Transform a 50sqm space in a heritage building into a modern, functional office.

Sounds straightforward, until we discovered:

⚠️ Ceiling height was only 2.4m
⚠️ Services and pipework were restricting the space
⚠️ The design needed to balance modern finishes with heritage elements

Instead of working around the problem, we reworked it.

We rearranged and decommissioned services to lift the ceiling height to 3.6m, turning what was a limitation into a feature.

The new exposed AC ductwork now runs through frameless glass partitions, enhancing both the design and the sense of space.
