Xmas came early 🥰 finally got my fresh pixel 6. (Wish I could get the pixel 6pro if it wasn't that big)!!

Phone sizes are way too big for my small hand obviously. Already feeling exhausted just trying to hold it after few hours.
😔

As I searched into alternatives and ready to compromise phones with worse specs just because they are smaller and easier to hold. I came across lots of feedback by women experience similar concerns about the size inclusiveness of this Pixel 6. (Swipe to read)


PS There is a lot of similar issues that is discussed in the book " Invisible Women": Exposing data bias in a world designed for men by Caroline Criado-Perez. It's an amazing book, but it will probably just make you angry...

2020 was the year when the design community truly connected, at least I believe so. It's the year I get to find out that so many of us in this industry have the desire to uplift and support one another.

I reached out to James Nau from late last year to pop into my UXD cohort for a Q&A, and he immediately said yes. James provided some super solid insights to my mentees.

Well guess what?! I'm getting James to come back for another Q&A sesh, and everyone is invited this time!

So.... outside of Design I actually hustle another business The Rushing Hour(a sustainable fashion label). Yup pretty hectic 🤓 but definitely fun. Designing garments for women's body is whole another level of art and science. Not only this experience gave me a whole new perspective on "product experience". Well... "Design" (the fun part of it) only is equivalent to appx 10% of the entire business, the rest of the hustle definitely pushed me to be resilient and adaptable in every way.

Tomorrow I get to tell you all about it!
