There is a moment in every founder’s journey when the vision is clear, however the foundation still needs work.

I recently asked a young founder the same three questions again and again:
✨️Who do you serve?
✨️ Why do you serve them?
✨️ What value do you create for them?

Not because she wasn’t listening.

Because the answers weren’t connecting yet.

And that’s more common than you think.

We can spend so much time creating content, building a brand, gathering social proof, and checking off tasks that make us feel productive, however if the foundation isn’t clear, we may simply be amplifying confusion.

The good news?

Clarity doesn’t always arrive before you begin. Sometimes, it’s built through the courage to pause, ask better questions, and stay open to the answers.

I’m proud of you, not because you have it all figured out, however you are brave enough to keep doing the work.

Last night reminded me of something I believe deeply:

Your environment can either drown you or help you thrive.

I had the privilege of attending the 36th Western Sydney Awards for Business Excellence (WSABE), celebrating some of the incredible people and businesses shaping Western Sydney.

But for me, the night was about more than awards.

We were there celebrating Shawn Yang and the BookWell team, recognised as a finalist for Outstanding New Business (Start-Up).

Shawn didn't take home the award.

He was nervous. He was disappointed. And then he said something so simple:

“That just means I have to work harder so I can win it next year.”

And almost instantly, the energy around the table changed.

Instead of disappointment, there was motivation.

People started saying, “You'll see me as a finalist next year too.”

THAT is the power of your environment.

Surround yourself with people who don't allow disappointment to become defeat.

People who celebrate how far you've come while still inspiring you towards where you're going.

People whose success doesn't make you feel smaller — it makes you think, maybe I can do that too.

And Shawn, being recognised as a finalist amongst some of Western Sydney's outstanding emerging businesses is already something worth stopping to celebrate.

Sometimes we're so focused on the award, the next milestone or the destination that we forget:

Being recognised for excellence is excellence.

Congratulations Shawn and BookWell. What you've built brought two tables of people together who genuinely wanted to celebrate you — and I think that says just as much about your success as any trophy could.

And congratulations to every 2026 WSABE finalist and winner.

Last night wasn't just a celebration of business.

For me, it was a reminder to choose your people carefully.

Your vibe really does attract your tribe. And the right tribe will remind you what's possible. ✨

Your intuition isn't missing. It has just been muted.

Yesterday marked the inaugural Movement & Intuition event and what a way to begin the Movement& Series.

Created by Monique Iyere ✨ (founder of Crush Events) Movement& brings women together to:

Move • Gather • Converse • Elevate

I had the privilege of partnering with Monique and facilitating the intuition component of the morning, with one message I really wanted every woman in that room to remember:

Your intuition is innately there.

But with so much external noise telling us how to look, behave, think, choose and move, sometimes we've simply forgotten how to hear it and how to trust ourselves.

We explored practical ways to return to self through Stillness. Release. Trust. And somehow, ACTIVATE became the unofficial word of the morning 😂

One piece of feedback afterwards captured exactly what I hoped women would take away:

"It absolutely hit home for me on a personal front. And yes to ACTIVATE! Making conscious decisions going forward for myself."

That's it. 🤎

Not leaving with all the answers.

Leaving a little lighter. A little freer. More connected to yourself and activated to consciously choose what comes next.

Thank you Monique for conceptualising this beautiful series, for everything that happened behind the scenes, and for trusting me to be part of its beginning.

You don’t need to feel ready. You just need to be brave enough to begin.

Entrepreneurship starts with trusting yourself first, your idea, your intuition, your belief that something more is possible.

It takes courage to choose a different path, to move without all the answers and to back yourself before anyone else does.

Today, on World Entrepreneurs’ Day, I celebrate those brave enough to begin, evolve and keep choosing themselves.

Trust yourself. Be brave. Take the step.

She’s changed...
Common sentiment people from my past are saying...

However I'm just learning to set boundaries without guilt.

Trusting in myself more.
Listening when my intuition speaks.
Deepening my divine connection.
And learning that not every change needs to be resisted.

I am becoming more adaptable, more flexible, more open to where life is guiding me.

Healing didn’t make me someone new.

It brought me closer to who I've always been.... without people taking advantage of my softness.

Healing is evolving. Healing is expansive. And healing is definitely NOT linear.

I thought last year was tough…
I thought 2022 was freaking impossible.
Even 2020 had me questioning everything.

But that’s the point.

No matter what season I have moved through, I have learned 3 things:

1. Lean into the challenge.
2. Trust yourself because you are divinely guided.
3. Don’t let fear consume you.

You may not understand the chapter while you are living it… but keep moving.

I'm welcoming you with an open heart, open hands, and complete trust.

This month, I am CHOOSING kindness, presence, courage and the willingness to evolve and expand.

I am ready to receive every lesson, every opportunity, every connection and every blessing that is meant for us.

I have a feeling August is the beginning of something incredibly special. Not because I am waiting for life to happen, but because I am committed to showing up for it.

Here's to overflowing cups, beautiful memories with my little girl and continuing to become the woman greater than yesterday.

Every time I step into a founder event like this, I am reminded of something...

Innovation doesn't belong to one university, one accelerator or one organisation.
It belongs to the ecosystem.

It was such a privilege to attend the UNSW Female Founder Showcase and see so many incredible women bringing their ideas to life.

Walking through the stalls, hearing the stories behind each business and witnessing the courage it takes to build something from nothing was genuinely inspiring.

What I love most is that across our universities, we're not competing for founders, we are creating pathways for them.

Whether it's UNSW Founders, Western Sydney University Launch Pad, or any other entrepreneurial community, we are all working towards the same goal: helping founders turn ideas into impact.

A huge congratulations to every founder who showcased their business. Thank you for sharing your journey, your passion, and your vision with all of us.
Because when we collaborate, founders don't just survive... They thrive.

🚀 My first Welcome Week representing Launch Pad at Western Sydney University

What an incredible experience.

Thanks to an amazing team, we brought to life our activation: Discover Your Innovation DNA.

What started as an AI-generated idea, evolved through a team brainstorming session, inspired by a tarot card sitting on my desk to becoming a fully interactive quiz where students could discover their innovation archetype and explore how Launch Pad supports founders throughout their entrepreneurial journey.

Over the day, we connected with more than 250 students and staff, sparking conversations about innovation, entrepreneurship and the opportunities available through Launch Pad.

A huge shout out to our incredible Student Casuals. You took ownership of the activation, shared your own Launch Pad experiences with authenticity. All while representing Western Sydney University with confidence, energy and professionalism.

To me, that is where Launch Pad truly shines, not just by supporting great ideas, but by empowering people, especially our students, to step up, build confidence, create meaningful connections, and launch into their potential.

I'm so grateful to have been part of it, and I can't wait for what's next.

Congratulations if you failed.

Seriously my lovely souls...

Because failure means you had the courage to try. Most people never even get that far.

This week challenged me more than I expected. Starting a job again after years of some terrible experiences... unexpectedly stirred up emotions I didn't even realise I was still carrying. It wasn't even about the people around me, they're genuinely supportive. It was old experiences, old wounds and old stories resurfacing.

Sometimes healing doesn't happen until life gives you another opportunity to face what you thought you'd already overcome.

So this week, I chose not to run from the discomfort. I felt it. I questioned it. And now, I'm letting it go.

Growth isn't always loud. Sometimes it's simply deciding not to let yesterday dictate tomorrow.

If you're in a season where things feel heavy, keep going.

You haven't failed. You are growing into your glow.
