A few of our candidates came in and met with the team this week. And it was a reminder of just how much we love what we do.

From ED to Med Surge, we work across a range of specialities, and the clinicians we get to support are as varied as the roles themselves.

Some of our remote health clients and candidates may notice that SustainHealth Recruitment won’t be attending the CRANAplus Conference in person this year.

Over recent months, we’ve had many conversations with healthcare leaders, clients and remote communities about workforce pressures and the growing conference and agency presence within the sector.

A common reflection was that the space can sometimes feel crowded with transactional conversations, giveaways, brand self promotion and hard selling to “win business,” something that doesn’t always reflect the wants or needs of the remote healthcare community.

So this year, we made the conscious decision to step back, listen, learn and reflect on what meaningful workforce partnership should look like moving forward.

While we aren’t there physically, we remain proud supporters of the CRANAplus community and have been closely following this year’s presentations and poster sessions.

Two that particularly resonated with us were:

“Keeping Locals Local – Charleville’s Place” and the Wati Pirniku Men’s Hub Model of Care, both highlighting the importance of community connection, culturally responsive care, local workforce capability and importantly long-term sustainability for workforce models in Remote Health.

Different communities. Different models.

But both reinforced the same message:

People and Place matter.

For us, this year is less about visibility and more about continuing to evolve as a workforce partner in a way that adds real value to the healthcare services and communities we support.

We’d genuinely welcome conversations and thoughts on how SustainHealth Recruitment can continue to support the remote healthcare sector in more meaningful ways moving forward as your workforce solutions partner.
