Drowning in emails?
Here are my 3 tips of things you can implement TODAY to help you regain control of your inbox.
✉️ Strive for Inbox Zero: Aim to clear your inbox daily by processing, deleting, or archiving emails. Keeping your inbox at zero helps you stay focused on what’s important and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. If you can handle an email in 2 minutes or less, do it immediately to keep your inbox manageable and avoid clutter, otherwise sort into folders (see tip 2) so you can sort like minded tasks together. This way nothing gets missed!
✉️ Use Categories and Subfolders: Organise your emails using categories and subfolders based on projects, clients, or types of action. This helps improve focus and efficiency as you can process similar tasks at the same time, whether this is sales calls, accounting, patient recalls, team leave requests.
✉️ Automate and Unsubscribe: Set up automation filters to sort incoming emails into appropriate folders automatically. This reduces the clutter in your main inbox and helps you focus on important messages. Also, regularly unsubscribe from newsletters and updates that no longer serve you. This keeps your inbox cleaner and reduces distractions.
