Ground Floor
Involves re-locating the stair, kitchen and front door to improve the proportions and function of the existing house. A new pool is integrated into the existing deck, sensitively located to respond to the site’s beautiful trees that are being retained. The front door becomes more prominent and visible as guests arrive. The ground floor footprint is slightly extended to provide 2 better size bedrooms and a new study facing the views to the north deck.
First Floor
The Primary bedroom is resized and re-organised to have an en-suite open to the sea views. Adding a generous walk-in-robe to the south allows the primary bed to be closer to the window and views.
