Earlier in the month, I was lucky enough to be back in Tokyo for a short work trip.🗼

During my short visit, I was able to convince my friend to drive me down to Fuji Speedway to check out R34 Festival Vol.16 with me, held by SHAFT Auto Service【シャフト】 which has been on my bucket list for a long time, as R34s were once a dream car of mine! (Specifically a ER34 with GT-R conversion kit!)

I was blown away by the quality of some of the cars and it was so refreshing to see them modified in so many different styles. ^_^

I've posted these on my Instagram a little while ago, but it was about time I did some posting on Facebook again. 😅

It's been a minute since I've done an update on here!

But with 2026 starting out with Tokyo Autosalon trip, trying to sort out work, and a lot of my time spent on Instagram because it is easier to find car owners, I've neglected the page a bit.

So here is a photo dump from Tokyo V7, which was primarily shot on my new Canon R6 III which I bought to level up my photo and video work, after my Canon 6Ds have worked tirelessly for nearly 13 years taking all the photos previously posted on here!

Breakdown on these photos:
13 days average of 5.5 hours sleep, 5 coffees a day, 21,000 steps shooting 7,541 photos/ videos on my Canon R6iii, Canon 6D and phone, totaling 96gb of data!

Thanks to the lads at STREET MACHINE for having me capture some photos and video pieces for their Street Machine Of The Year!

Although I only know modified Japanese cars, it's always an amazing opportunity to do work for these guys and getting to see and learn about our rich Aussie Muscle car culture which I've barely scratched the surface of.

annual is one of my favorite events to attend yearly, having shot a lot of Hondas in my early photography years, I've known a lot of these guys for way too many years and been capturing the event since 2016!

I even booked my Japan trip around the date as boss man, Felix asked me if I was going to be free to take some snaps!

It was great to catch up with so many people this year, ended up socializing more than taking photos for a change.. while battling slight jet-lagged and minimal sleep for the last few weeks 😅

Since 2022, I've been fortunate enough to do some photo and video work to document the R&D that Lamspeed Racing has been putting into the GR Yaris / GR Corolla / G16E-GTS Turbo 3 Cylinder platform.

Doing everything from World Time Attack Challenge (Clubsprint Contender + Tuner Class Winner), Circuit Racing to Drag Racing.

One of the biggest sights the team had was running an 8 Second pass as they saw how capable the platform was.

After a few test nights, tunes and multiple adjustments later, the team finally managed to achieve the World's First GR Yaris 8 Second Pass. Running 8.857 @ 164.45 MPH!

With work keeping me really busy lately, I've been a bit slack with social media posting. 🥺

But when Go Garage had their 6th Anniversary event last week, I had to drop by to congratulate the team and take some photos of the event, with so many familiar faces in attendance, I chatted more than taking photos!

With photo/ video work keeping me very busy in the last few week, I've finally had the chance to catch up with editing my own photos from Toymods Car Club, NSW Australia ToyotaFest #22 and post on social media.

Having missed last year's event due to being overseas, it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces and seeing a few new builds!

I love itasha cars, but it's not common to see them in Sydney, let alone a Hatsune Miku (Racing Miku) / Goodsmile Racing themed BMW M2 (from Victoria) out on track which was cool to see! 😍

Shame I never got to chat to the driver to pass them a few photos, if anyone know who they are, send them my way!

Spotted a familiar face yesterday at SMSP, Jez from Prowraps And Graphics doing some shakedown laps in the T-Motorsports Hyundai i30 Sedan N, which he will be piloting in the Tuner Class at World Time Attack Challenge
