I’ve spent the last year building offers I wasn’t even sure people wanted.

Opt-ins. Freebies. Funnels.

Tweaking the copy. Fixing the flow.

And still getting silence on the other side.

Every time I’d launch, I’d think:

“Is the funnel broken?
Is the message wrong?
Or did I just build something no one asked for?”

So I tried something different.

No funnel. No freebie. No list.

Just a paid ad written with my IdealClientAI to test the idea.

🧾 $198 AUD spent
📬 43 cold leads
💸 $4.61 per lead
📞 One booked call
🧲 Six warm opt-ins - to an offer I hadn’t built yet

It worked.

Not perfectly. But enough to move forward.

Now I’m offering to build that same AI powered system - what I call the Fast Leads Test - for 3 other coaches.

And I’ll do it for free.

Here’s what it looks like:
🛠️ You bring the offer or idea
🔍 We jump on a clarity call to sharpen your message with AI
💬 I write the copy, build the form, set up the targeting
📥 Leads land straight into your Meta inbox (or CRM)
💸 You fund $200 in ad spend - I do the rest

Why free?
I’m building proof.
You get real leads and offer validation. I get real case studies.
Simple.

Worst case? You spend $200 and find out what doesn’t land.
Best case? You validate your offer, start conversations, and build momentum - fast.

This isn’t about being “ready.”
In fact, if you don’t feel ready - that’s probably a sign this is exactly what you need.

Most coaching businesses don’t fail because the work isn’t good.
They fail because the offer never leaves the notebook.

Don’t spend 12 more months trying to write the perfect promise.

Spend $200 testing your idea in the real world.

This round is free. You keep the leads.
All I ask is honest feedback.

Drop a 🧠 or DM me “FAST” - and I’ll send the details.
Let’s stop building in the dark. Let’s ask the market.

Looking to learn more about your leads while giving them valuable, tailored insights?

You should consider setting up a quiz funnel.

I love a good quiz, trivia nights are a favourite of mine, but this type of quiz isn’t one where there are right and wrong answers…

It’s more of a “Which Harry Potter character are you?” style of quiz.

It’s about providing an assessment based on your lead’s answers, and giving valuable feedback that’s specific to their current situation.

It's like giving them the personalised feedback you'd offer in a discovery call, but in a much more scalable way.

It can also serve to qualify your leads further.

Whether you’re looking to work with people earning more than $10k a month, parents, or pet owners, a quiz can qualify leads as well as providing value.

Whatever your criteria, you can build this into the quiz, and use that information to tailor your marketing, increasing the potential for a conversion.

It’s the middle ground between a generic approach and a fully personalised one—offering a customized experience without requiring hours of manual effort.

Everybody wins.

So the question now is how do we set this up?

How do we structure a quiz that gets people interested?

And how do we launch it to the world?

For structure, I like to use the Rule of Three, keep it short and sweet, and I work backwards a little:

What are the three biggest pain points I help my clients with?
Pain Point 1 e.g. Lead Gen
Pain Point 2 e.g. Closing
Pain Point 3 E.g. Churn/Retention

What advice would I give someone in each stage of the pain point
High - pain is bad - Do this
Medium - pain is okay - Do that
Low - no pain - Well done

What are three multiple choice questions/statements that could provide insight into each of the pain points?

With that, you have a quick 9-question quiz, resulting in 27 possible combinations of outcomes based on varying levels of each pain point.

If you’re struggling to come up with ideas, don’t be afraid to ideate a bit with ChatGPT. I won’t tell anyone…

As a pro tip, whichever pain point is the worst for the lead, have your email nurture sequence segmented to focus on that as a priority…

Lead A, (can’t find leads) hears all about how you can help them with traffic.
Lead B, (struggling with sales) receives content on closing.
Lead C, (churn problems) hears your latest retention strategies.

As far as getting it out to the world, a tool like ScoreApp can make implementation quick and easy.

Do you think your audience would enjoy a quiz like this? I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'm back from my holiday and in big time build mode!

I'm working on my GoHighLevel Starter Course for my FREE Automations for Coaches community on Skool!

It will contain all the key automations a coach needs to run their business online, with a complete CRM & pipeline.

When this is set up, all you'll need to do is drive traffic to your lead magnet(s), and deliver coaching sessions. The rest should handle itself!

It'll be a week or two before this is ready to go, and it will be GoHighLevel specific, as that's the platform I like to work in, for multiple reasons.

It'll contain detailed instructional videos on:

* How to Set Up Your Account

* Creating Pipelines

* Lead Magnet Delivery

* Lead Nurture Automations

* Setting up Calendars for Discovery Calls

* Automating Documents, Invoices & Onboarding

* Building Out Recurring Appointments for a 12-week Offer

* Automating Feedback & Review Requests

Along with the videos, I'll also be creating checklists for each step, so nothing gets missed

AND

I'll be building the Snapshot (aka template) as I record, so everything I build will be made available to you when you join my GoHighLevel For Coaches community on Skool

Or when you sign up for HighLevel with my affiliate link - the cost is the same either way ($97 USD/month), but you'll get a lot more direct help from me in the community 😉

(Already have HighLevel? If you join GoHighLevel For Coaches, we can transfer you sub-account over so you aren't doubling up on payments!)

Nothing Succeeds Like Success

InSync Business Connections

Pursue Success Like a Successful Person

Is there a secret to becoming successful? It seems for some people, everything they touch turns to gold. Do they have the secret ingredient? Are they more talented? Do they come from money or privilege?

There have been numerous studies done to understand why some people become successful and others don’t and what one study found was there are 3 things you can do to help you become more successful.

1. Grow Your Self Belief 💃

Start by questioning your limiting beliefs. Are they real, what evidence do you have that they are real?

Most limiting beliefs come from childhood, so when we question where the belief is coming from, it is usually from a parent or teacher who wanted to protect us and keep us safe. So, look for evidence that helps you grow your self-belief, look at your past achievements, keep an achievement diary, start to surround yourself with people who believe in you.

I personally think self-belief is crucial for anyone who is running their own business. I was (and still am) lucky, my partner believed in me way before I believed in myself.

If you don’t have a special person in your life who believes in you, join an accountability group, a networking group, any group where there are other small business owners and I guarantee you, they will help build your self belief.

2. Practice Optimism. 🙃

When you’re running your own business, things don’t always go to plan. Some might see this as failure, others see it as a learning curve. Studies have shown that optimists see failure as an opportunity to do better, while pessimists become discouraged by failure. So, let’s look for the growth opportunities, the lessons and the learnings so we can become better than we were the day before.

3. Expect Success. 🎉

Sometimes we tend to focus on the negative and we all know that building a successful business is not a straight line, there are twists & turns and things don’t always go to plan.

So, when we expect success, we’re putting out positive energy, which in turn attracts more positive energy and great things start to happen. So, spend your energy on expecting success because success breeds more success.

Have a fabulous and successful week ahead!!!

AI is the big thing at the moment. It's everywhere, we all see it. I'm big into automation and leveraging machine learning... but why do I get the "Heebie Jeebies" when it comes to using AI for content & comms?

I struggled reconciling this for a while, and I think I've come down to the core of it. I think what I have a real problem with, is AI masquerading as human. More specifically, AI masquerading as ME...

I know I could probably get more business by using a lead capturing chat-bot, an AI appointment setter, a Closer-Bot... there are plenty of tools out there...

But it feels disingenuous and I'm concerned it could damage the trust with potential clients, which is something I'm absolutely unwilling to do. Trust is the base of all good relationships, business or otherwise.

So, now I'm left wondering if I just keep slogging away manually, or if there's a middle ground I can shoot for. Would a bot that "says it's a bot" have the same impact as one pretending to be human? Is the "lie" crucial to the success rate of these tools? Or would my leads appreciate the transparency?

I did have a friend tell me that she'd rather know it was a bot, if only so she wouldn't have to say "please" and "thank you"... 😅

With the upcoming robot apocalypse that's been predicted in so may sci-fi movies, I think it might actually be best practice to be nice to our robot friends... I always say thank you to Google when she does a job for me (just in case)

What do you think? Does the idea of an AI conversation that admits it's AI turn you off? Or would you rather know that it's not a human you're speaking with?

**Full disclosure, the image is AI generated (got it to do a self portrait..) but the text is all me 🙂**

I love split testing ... ❤️

To be a bit clearer, I just love testing things out, getting the data and being able to analyse the information provided.

In another life, I should have been a scientist... 🔬

I'm about to launch a split test on email nurture sequences... (exciting, I know)

There's the standard nurture sequence that we see all the time. Sign up for a freebie, and you get roughly 5 emails over 5 days, culminating in an offer to work together in some capacity. Simple & effective.

But what about a sequence that's a little more nuanced? Same content, same subject lines (mostly), same end goal, but with a little tweak. The system checks if the previous email has been opened before sending the next one.

If it hasn't been opened, it sends the previous email again, just with a different subject line, giving the recipient another chance to read it before the next email comes along.

I'll admit, I'm 💯% biased.

I think the fancier version will provide better results, but I'm excited to see what the reality is, attribute some numbers to my hypothesis.

There's a full video here going over how it will work, only a couple of minutes long - https://youtu.be/9g1wTrvR4Sg

If you're keen to see the results (when they come through), DM me the word "Value" and I'll send you the link to my FREE Skool community, Value Add Australia, where I'll be posting the results

🎯 Setting & Meeting Expectations

In the thrilling world of coaching, this is your golden ticket to a loyal clientele.

Setting expectations isn't just about lofty promises; it’s like giving your clients a roadmap to their goals.

Here's the deal: Tell them what you're going to do for them, how you're going to make them healthier/wealthier/happier, and then - this part is crucial - actually do it!

It's not rocket science, but it's often overlooked.

The cause of frustration, disappointment, and broken trust can most often be traced back to a disconnect in expectation.

Really think about it. When was the last time you were truly disappointed. Trace it back.

You thought something was going to happen, and it didn't, right?

Or, you thought something wasn't going to happen and it did.

Without setting expectations, clients come in with their own ideas of what to expect from a session, and get something entirely different, or it doesn't seem like "enough" to them.

Especially that first session when they think you're going to solve all their problems in one fell swoop, without them having to do any work on themselves...

Remember: Overpromise and underdeliver is the path to angry emails and negative reviews.

Underpromise and overdeliver? Now that's playing chess while everyone else is playing checkers, (although it's not without it's own risks...)

How about we keep it simple. Promise & Deliver.

"Does what it says on the box" - happy with that review all day every day

Today is feeling like a "Big Brain" day.

I guess it's more of a "Big Ideas" day. 💡

I've been thinking about client journeys/workflows that could have multiple entry points, which I don't want to loop back on themselves.

I actually had an issue the other day, where I had a client book in directly, and I asked them to go through a quiz, and on the backend of the quiz is an email funnel that asks the quiz taker to book a call.

She was confused as to why I was asking her to book a call when she already had one scheduled, which makes perfect sense.

It was a simple mistake on my part, easily fixed with a bit of data tagging, but it can get very complicated very quickly with a larger workflow, and adding even a single variable can complicate it much further.

I was working across my journey map, planning out tags, looking at conflicts and exceptions, and I had a thought.

What if I could just enter all the steps into a Google Sheet, then run a bit of code on it to figure out all the possible outcomes. 🤖

Get the computer to run through every different path, and tell me where I should be creating blockers to prevent me from making offers to people who have already accepted them.

This would be an incredibly useful tool, and not just for me, but for my clients as well. Enter all the steps in the client journey and it returns a complete tagging plan which ensures a seamless experience.

Right now, it's just an idea...

But I'll be focusing on making that idea a reality in the near future.

It's time to go into build mode for a bit, and get that "Big Brain" work done 🧠

If you think a tool like this could help you out, drop a comment below and I'll keep you updated

What's that? My first YouTube video? 🎥

Is this my ticket to viral stardom?

Probably not, but a man can dream... 💭

It's a tutorial off the back of a question I had the other day, which got me thinking.

The question was "How can I offer a free first session to my potential clients, then request payment from the second session onwards, using the same calendar for bookings?"

The simple answer was to create a second calendar and attach a payment processor to it.

But the client is on a tight budget and wanted a free alternative, so here we go...

Using a mix of Zapier, Calendly and MailerLite, here's how you can offer a free session and paid sessions on the same calendar... 📅

Using the free features only

And with full automation, so you don't have to stay on top of who gets a free session and who needs to pay

Link to the video is in the comments ⬇️

Hope you enjoy 😊
