Back to the latest Nvidia RTX news!

Micron has made it official that the company will be supplying Nvidia the new GDDR6 GPU memory for the upcoming launch of the RTX series. Considering that the previous GPU memory, GDDR5X was only ever used by Nvidia and Micron was the only company that manufactured it, this is considered basically a no-brainer. How excited are you for the RTX launch?

The teams decided due to the exciting news happening with Nvidia and their RTX 2000 series of cards, we will be alternating weeks with a post about our builds and a post about the latest news. So back to the client’s build, we had to acquire Corsair RGB Fans, more specifically the LL120 and 140’s. These fans were amazing to use and really brighten up the build with its RGB functionality!

The future is now, and it is called RTX!
Nvidia has recently announced their GPU architecture called “Nvidia Turing”, named after English computer scientist Alan Turing. This architecture brings ray tracing and introducing Ai-driven Tensor cores to usher in a new graphical standard in PC Gaming. We’re excited to see how far custom builds can go with this amazing tech but how do you feel about the cards? Comment down below!

The next part that we wanted to show off was the CPU and CPU cooler. Sporting an Intel i7 8700k and the NZXT Kraken X52 240mm, let’s just say that this build can overclock with ease and has the cooling system to back it up.

Before we do a full reveal, we just wanted to whet your appetite just a little more. This build is 4k ready thanks to the graphics powerhouse that is the GTX 1080 Ti. Being the MSI Gaming X version, you know that this rig won’t be pulling any punches and is prepared for all the latest releases!
